Tonight’s Hitting Coach will be centered on tonight’s 12-game evening slate the that a roster lock of 7:05 PM ET.

The Dodgers are still finishing up their series at Coors, and there is a chance of rain, but there isn’t really a threat of a rainout.

As a reminder, players are organized based on salary, and in this case, it’s using FanDuel pricing.

Buster Posey has reached base safely two or more times in five of his last seven starts.

Yadier Molina is probably the hottest hitter that you have no idea is hot. The man has a 17-game hitting streak and has a ridiculous 8-game DOUBLE streak.

Victor Martinez missed out on Chris Sale the last time the Tigers met with the White Sox because of the notorious throwback uniform incident. It was a shame because V-Mart is 18-for-36 (.500 AVG) with four homers, three doubles, and nine RBIs against sale throughout his career.

Stephen Vogt has batted .321/.367/.607 with two homers against Jered Weaver throughout his career. This may be one of the last times he’ll ever get the chance to feast on Weaver considering his career as an Angel may be coming to an end in the near future.

David Ortiz has batted .500/.583/1.500 with three home runs through 12 career plate appearances against Hisashi Iwakuma

Joey Votto may be an absolute jerk (Google: Joey Votto fan), but it doesn’t change the fact that he is one bad man at the plate right now. He is 17-for-34 (.500 AVG) with two homers, two doubles, 11 walks, 12 runs, and six RBIs over his last 10 games.

Brandon Belt is a little pricey on FanDuel but is a great value on DraftKings. He had a breakout game last night, going 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBIs.

Kennys Vargas is 7-for-13 (.538 AVG) with a homer and two doubles throughout his career against Trevor Bauer of the Indians.

Jose Altuve usually doesn’t get as much attention against right-handed pitching, but the gap isn’t as drastic this season. He has also gone 15-for-40 (.375 AVG) at the plate with four homers over his last 10 games.

Robinson Cano is doing plenty of work the last three games and gets a great matchup against Rick Porcello, who he has gone 10-for-27 (.370 AVG) with a home run against in their previous meetings.

Daniel Descalso is batting .347/.458/.449 at Coors this season. With Trevor Story likely out for the season, expect Descalso to get more playing time.

Starlin Castro is one of my favorite values tonight, going up against a sinkerball pitcher in Steven Matz. Castro hits better against lefties and hits better against the sinkerball than any other pitch.

Justin Turner is pricey, but he has been pricey for quite awhile now, and doesn’t get much of a price bump from playing at Coors Field at all. The Red Baron has seven two-hit games over his last 10 starts.

Nolan Arenado probably won’t get as much attention as he normally would because of his cold spell, but it’s still Nolan Arenado, and he’s still hitting at the launch pad they call Coors Field. He has already broken out of a few slumps at Coors this season, and I think his matchup against Brock Stewart may be the best remedy.

Wilmer Flores has been such a pleasant surprise for the Mets. He is finally getting regular at-bats, and it really shows. Over his last 30 games, Flores has batted .296/.346/.571 with eight homers and 19 RBIs.

Jedd Gyorko is always at his best when he faces lefties, and he has reached base safely in each of his last six starts, while knocking three home runs over his last six starts as well.

Zack Cozart loves facing Michael Wacha. He is 10-for-20 with three extra base hits in his career against the Cardinals right-hander. Keep an eye out on his status, because he was scratched yesterday because of a bruised ring finger.

Xander Bogaerts at just $3400 on FanDuel is one of the better values you’re going to find. Xander is batting .349/.397/.540 with three homers over his last 15 games.

Marcus Semien faces Jered Weaver of the Angels who has a head shaking 5.76 xFIP to go with his 1.76 HR/9 this season.

Alcides Escobar is never the flashiest name at the shortstop position, but he has a decent floor for someone who is always so cheap and batting from the leadoff spot.

Mookie Betts is one of my favorites on a nightly basis because his price tag is never a steal, so you’ll definitely get low ownership from him, but he’ll always come with a fairly reasonable floor and a super high ceiling. He also has reverse splits against righties, where he is batting .319/.362/.557 with 17 of his 22 homers against right-handed pitching.

Carlos Gonzalez has been very streaky throughout the season, but this current run has been out of this world. He now has a 14-game hitting streak and has combined for a homer, five doubles, and 10 RBIs over his last four games.

Starling Marte will steal at least two stolen bases today. He will likely be facing Anthony Recker who is having a terrible time throwing runners out. Marie is in the middle of an 8-game hitting streak, where he has gone 13-for-28 (.464 AVG) with a triple, four doubles, four walks, and three stolen bases.

Jay Bruce will undoubtedly get another crack at the Yankees tonight and has a great matchup against Chad Green. Bruce can be a little pricey, but my money is on him to hit one to the Bleacher Creatures tonight.

David Dahl is still way too cheap at just $3000 on DraftKings. He was able to demonstrate his power in the minors this season and has been able to translate that power to some success in the Majors.

Matt Kemp has a great opportunity to show Atlanta what he’s all about tonight against Jeff Locke of the Pirates. He is 5-for-10 (.500 AVG) with a homer and three RBIs against Locke in their previous meetings.

Max Kepler may be the most confident hitter in baseball right now. In just two games against the Indians, the German Wunderkind has gone 5-for-8 (.625 AVG) with four homers, three walks, six runs, eight RBIs, and a stolen base.

Matt Holliday gets a great matchup against Cody Reed, who has allowed nine homers in 29 innings and a .408 wOBA to right-handed batters this season.

Hunter Pence is back, folks! He has hits in each of his three starts since coming back from his stint on the Disabled List, and is just remaining his productive self.

Melky Cabrera snapped a pretty good run last night going 0-for-5, but in his four previous games, he had gone 10-for-18 (.556 AVG) with four doubles and five RBIs.

Corey Dickerson has been much more productive at the plate in recent weeks, batting .283/.316/.528 over his last 15 games. He also has a solid .456 wOBA throughout his career against Edinson Volquez

Michael Saunders is only $3000 on FanDuel tonight, and comes into the game batting 5-for-12 (.417 AVG) with a double homers, lifetime, against Collin McHugh.

Jurickson Profar gets a good matchup against Kevin Gausman of the Orioles. We all know that Gausman throws predominately fastballs, and Profar has come to be the best fastball hitter on the Rangers roster.

Jeff Francoeur has a decent chance at being in the lineup tonight against Jeff Locke of the Pirates. Frenchy is 3-for-5 (.600 AVG) with a home run in limited action against the southpaw.

Kevin Kiermaier’s value will significantly increase if he continues to get regular at-bats from the 2-hole. A great value tonight throughout the industry.

Scott Schebler is back in the Majors thanks to the Jay Bruce trade, and he made his return with a bang, hitting a 3-run walk off home run.
