Recommended Lineup Week 12All lineups are based off of a $1,000,000 salary cap featured at Daily Joust, you best option in daily fantasy sports gaming. Lineups consist of a quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one kicker and one team defense. Teams are created for contests including all Sunday and Monday games.
QB: Matt Ryan (ATL) @ TB--$204,00--Over the last five games, the Buccaneers have given up 13 touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks including three games with at least three scores through the air. Matt Ryan is coming off of a five interception game, but this is the type of matchup that will help him quickly forget last week and return to performing like a top tier quarterback.
RB: Frank Gore (SF) @ NO--$144,000--Although the Saints haven't given up a rushing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks over their last three games, they have still allowed a lot of fantasy production. With Colin Kapernick under center, the 49ers should run the ball more than usual making Frank Gore a great pick for this week considering his price tag.
RB: Jalen Parmele (JAC) vs. TEN--$87,000--If you have read any of my other articles this week you would know that I am pretty high on Jalen Parmele this week. Starting in place of Rashad Jennings, Parmele should be able to finish with solid fantasy production considering the Titans give up the fourth most fantasy points-per-game to opposing running backs.
WR: Roddy White (ATL) @ TB--$160,000--Since I recommend starting Matt Ryan, it only makes sense to start his top receiving option to handcuff the selection. The Buccaneers have allowed the second most fantasy points-per-game to opposing wide receivers this season, and in what should be a high scoring game, Roddy White is in line for a huge day.
WR: Kendall Wright (TEN) @ JAC--$79,000--Since I spent a lot of my budget on Roddy White, I had to look for value picks at my other wide receiver positions. The Titans are matched up against the Jaguars this week, so there is a good chance Kendall Wright has a big game based on the team's struggles defending the pass, so he is a nice option at a cheap price.
WR: Mohamed Sanu (CIN) vs OAK--$67,000--This pick is either going to make me or break me, but I am willing to roll the dice on this one. Mohamed Sanu will line up as the Bengals No. 2 wide receiver with Andrew Hawkins listed at doubtful and if you factor in the Raiders struggles defending the pass (2 TD's to opposing WR's in three straight games), he has great upside at his current price tag.
TE: Vernon Davis (SF) @ NO--$94,000--With Colin Kaepernick under center in Week 11, Vernon Davis caught six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown, which was his first game with a touchdown since Week 3. The 49ers announced that Colin Kaepernick will be the team's quarterback again this week, so expect him to look for Davis as both a safety valve and a down field threat in this favorable matchup.
K: Shaun Suisham (PIT) @ CLE--$71,000--With the Steelers offense in trouble without Ben Roethlisberger under center, it should mean more field goal chances for Shaun Suisham, since touchdowns will likely be hard to come by. In last week's game against the Ravens, Suisham converted all three of his field goal attempts and considering the Browns defense ranks 28th in fantasy points allowed, he is a good start this week.
DEF: Arizona Cardinals vs. STL--$90,000--The Cardinals defense had a big game last week, picking off Matt Ryan five times and this week they face off against a struggling Rams team that scored just 13 points against the Jets in Week 11. I don't think the Cardinals will repeat last week's performance, but they have a good chance of returning good fantasy value considering the cheap asking price.Total Salary: $996,000Value Picks for Week 12QuarterbacksColin Kaepernick (SF)--$172,000--The 49ers new signal-caller is coming off a big game and faces off against one of the worst defenses in the league so he is worth starting if you are looking for a cheap option outside of the top tier.Eli Manning (NYG)--$147,000--He may have been playing bad in the month of November, but Eli Manning has passed for six touchdowns in his last two games against the Packers.Running BacksRonnie Hillman (DEN)--$103,000--With Willis McGahee out for the rest of the regular season, Ronnie Hillman steps in as the team's No. 1 running back, so start him if you need him.Jacquizz Rodgers (ATL)--$63,000--The wheels are starting to fall off of Michael Turner, making me think that Jacquizz Rodgers will continue to get enough carries to make him worth starting if an extremely cheap running back in needed.Wide ReceiversLance Moore (NO)â$113,000âLance Moore is coming off of a two-touchdown performance from a week ago and this week he could find himself in a similar position considering the 49ers issues defending the pass.
Darrius Heyward-Bey (OAK)--$95,000--The Raiders are passing a lot this season and Darrius Heyward-Bey has caught at least four passes in three straight games making him a solid start this week.Tight EndsJermichael Finley (GB)--$70,000--After being written off by many fantasy players Jermichael Finley returned in Week 11 catching three passes for 66 yards and a touchdown, so consider rolling with him this week in a favorable matchup.Dwayne Allen (IND)â$64,000âAndrew Luck continues to target Dwayne Allen heavily in the Colts offense, with 11 targets in Week 11, so expect him to get plenty of opportunities once again in Week 12.KickersGarrett Hartley (NO)â$76,000Greg Zuerlein (STL)--$68,000DefenseCleveland Browns--$84,000Pittsburgh Steelers--$74,000Other Week 12 AdvicePickups of the WeekStart or Sit Injury ReportTo make setting your Fantasy Football lineup easy, be sure to utilize RotoInfo.comâs new NFL Lineup Grids.Matthew Beck is a Fantasy Sports Columnist for Rotoinfo.com.
