Clayton Kershaw is once again on the mound tonight which brings up a big question on whether to pay up for him or not. The Washington Nationals have been hot as well as hitting lefties well so they do bring quite the challenge. Kershaw is match-up proof but there becomes a point where the price tag is just too much. On a multiple pitcher site like Draftkings, you will have to pair him with the likes of R.A. Dickey or Mike Minor but on single pitcher sites you should be able to find enough value to use. I would love to save the money and not use him but just can't find enough love for the cheaper options out there. Jake Arrieta and Adam Wainwright could make a nice combo on draftkings as well if you want to go that direction. Wainwright will have Yadier Molina behind the plate which is a big bonus for him.
The hitters will be an interesting challenge tonight as I don't have many involved in Coors field like yesterday. I love Giancarlo Stanton and Jose Bautista but very difficult to find room for both of them. The good news is that there are plenty of value options on the board to avoid some of the high priced players out there. Darrin Ruf, Donovan Solano and Jesus Guzman all provide some salary relief.
