Red Sox vs. Blue Jays Prediction: Monday, September 23rd

With not much to pick from today on the MLB slate, I figured we keep it simple and attack Chris Bassitt – which has been profitable in the past! Bassitt has been slightly below average most of the season and at home is ERA of 4.58 and OBA of .273 should be exposed tonight as the Red Sox fight to stay in the postseason race.

I expect the Red Sox to win this one given how Toronto has fallen apart in September going 6-12 overall and their run production has dipped in a big way. The Sox will get to Bassitt at some point tonight and the Jays offense won’t keep up so give me the Red Sox on the Money Line this evening.

Adding another bet in this game here as well with Bassitt being mediocre and extra bad against lefty bats this season. He is allowing a .300 average and .856 OPS to lefties this season and of the 18 homers he has given up, 14 have some against left-handed hitting.

That means it's time to load up on some Triston Casas who is hitting .250 with a 1.248 OPS over the past 6 games and has hit righties solid all season. Give me the over on his total bases tonight at a nice plus-money tag.
