The world is healing and setting itself right again. No I don’t mean that people are going back out to bars and restaurants but instead that all favorites won last night in the LCS. That makes me more terrified now that C9 will find a way to get bopped by CLG but lets break down these matchups. Wins and losses don’t matter in DFS, just production and we are seeing some players produce!
FBI (100T: ADC) 9.5 Fantasy Points- OVER
This feels like a steal. FBI is a premier ADC in the LCS and is averaging about 5 kills and over 6 assists per game. They are playing the worst team arguably in the LCS in Golden Guardians with what I would say is the worst bot lane in Stixxay and Chime. FBI and huhi should have a pretty safe laning phase and should transition into some pretty explosive mid to late game team fights.
Dardoch (DIG: Jungle) 7.5 Fantasy Points- UNDER
If you look purely at Dardoch’s stats, this seems like a crazy line to take the under. In 4 games he has 17 kills and 30 assists. That averages out way over the 7.5 line (11.75) but there is more to the story here. In the first three games Team Dignitas played 100 Thieves, Flyquest, and Evil Geniuses. All of these teams are overly aggressive and prone to fighting at any given time. Immortals is a slower team and more controlled with their fighting. In fact, they have the second fewest deaths at 39 (less than 10 per game). This would mean that Dardoch would need to participate with almost all of the kills in the game to hit that 8 kill/assist number to hit the over. I think that is a much safer under than the over.
Xerxe (IMT: Mid) 7.5 Fantasy Points- OVER
I am on the Xerxe hype train now. Immortals look reimagined and focused on smart plays. I chalk their Friday loss up to subbing in their Academy mid laner and a poor draft. I think they fall back to a more normal draft on Saturday including some agency for Xerxe. While the mid laner seems trivial, there is a big impact on the jungle because of the constant fighting in the river for the scuttle crab. If you have a weaker mid laner, you don’t perform as well as the jungler. With Insanity most likely returning to the lineup, Xerxe’s production should be closer to week 1.
