LeSean McCoy : Shady McCoy returned to prominence with 113 yards rushing and two TD (plus a catch for five yards). I have always believed Shady is a great player (even when he played against my Cowboys for the Eagles). Sunday he showed the pride great players have. Given the reports that Shady is in the Bills plans for 2019 and given that there are some sweet matchups upcoming (Jets and Detroit in particular), now is a good time to buy low – especially because he has a bye in Week 11. Make a call to the Shady owner in your league, talk about how Sunday was a fluke (with your fingers crossed behind your back) and Shady’s absence for Week 11 and get yourself a back to plug and play in the fantasy playoffs.
David Johnson : Speaking of former studs playing like current studs, David Johnson rushed for 98 yards and a TD and caught seven passes for 85 yards and another TD – all in a losing cause. Well, that is more like it! With Oakland, Detroit, the Rams and Atlanta on the schedule, DJ should be chewing up big chunks of yardage down the stretch. I do not see him getting 30 touches like he did this week but I do see 25ish which is a nice increase from where the year started. I am in.
Leonard Fournette : In his first action in what seems like forever, Leonard Fournette put up 109 yards from scrimmage, scored two TD and added five receptions (for a cool PPR total of almost 28 points). There are a lot of reasons to worry about Fournette going forward. First, the schedule is not great – Washington, Tennessee, Steelers and Bills are all on the schedule. Second, Fournette is averaging only 2.8 yards per carry this season. Third, you know this one – his health. If you are in a TD dependent league, Fournette makes a reasonable plug and play. Otherwise, a sell high is in order.
Allen Robinson : Allen Robinson returned to action with a bang posting six grabs for 133 yards and two TD. Before Sunday, Robinson had only one game with more than five grabs since the 2016 season. So, is he back? Maybe but I cannot trust it. A lot of injuries and a lot of options (Miller, Gabriel, Cohen, Burton) tell me to sell high after this great game if you can.
Anthony Miller : Sticking with the Bears, Anthony Miller hauled in five passes for 122 yards and a TD. Even with Robinson back, Trubisky looks to Miller more often these days than back in September. Miller is averaging 6.5 targets a game over the last four games. I do not love the Vikings matchup next week but then the table is set with the Giants, Rams (whose pass defense is not what people expected), Lions, Packers and Niners on the menu. I am buying (and as noted above, it is hard to trust Robinson to stay on the field). In!
Final Note: Yeah, I know some of you get tired of me talking about the Cowboys. For those of you, I apologize. However, for the rest of you who humor me, I wonder if it is any surprise that the Cowboys had a strong offensive game when they designed a whole set of plays to get the ball to Zeke in space? #notrocketscience. Ok, rant over. Good luck in Week 11.
