CFB DFS Week 10 Tuesday Top Plays

Cole Snyder – Buffalo QB ($7400 DK / $8800 FD)

The Ohio pass defense is statistically the worst in college football this season, giving up 335 yards per game through the air. Though the unit has been a bit better against MAC competition, we can still target the matchup on this small slate. Cole Snyder has already shown the upside to go for 30+ DFS points when he's been in good matchups this year. The former Rutgers QB might not be as popular as Kurtis Rourke, but he should be a cash option.

John Paddock – Ball State QB ($6800 DK / $7500 FD)

Paddock isn't the most exciting DFS play, but he gets a phenomenal matchup here. Kent State's defense ranks 125th nationally in passing yards allowed per game (287.9) and Paddock should have success in this high-total game. The only downside is that he hasn't cracked 20 DK points in four games and owns a mediocre 14:9 TD:INT ratio this year. Still, there's upside in this matchup and he's the ideal GPP QB option tonight.

Carson Steele – Ball State RB ($6400 DK / $10000 FD)

Steele has everything we love in DFS running backs tonight. The Ball State bell-cow has the consistent workload with at least 28 touches in all four MAC matchups so far. That heavy volume has also led 25 DK points or more in five of the last seven games. Plus, Steele gets a matchup against a rough Kent State defense that's allowing 175 rushing yards during conference play (110th in FBS). On this slate, he's the clear RB1 and should be rostered in all cash lineups.

Marquez Cooper – Kent State RB ($4900 DK / $9500 FD)

Ball State’s rush defense is one of the worst in the country and it’s a great matchup for Cooper as Kent State’s bell-cow back. Ball State is giving up 207.5 rushing yards per game and 4.26 ypc during MAC play, with 10 rush TDs allowed over four conference games. Cooper has seen 28, 31, and 40 carries in three of four MAC matchups already and he should see a ton of work yet again tonight. The heavy workload leads to 100+ rushing yards and 20+ DFS points on a regular basis. He's terrible underpriced on DK and should be a cash lock there.

Sam Wiglusz – Ohio WR ($5900 DK / $9600 FD)

Wigluz is the clear top target in the Ohio receiving corps and his DFS floor is probably the best on the whole slate. He's put up at least 15 DK in five straight at least 24 DK in three of those. We should expect the floor/ceiling combo to continue as he's Kurtis Rourke's favorite receiver by a decent margin. The only worry tonight is a tougher matchup against a Buffalo defense that's allowing just over 200 passing yards per game. You can roster in all formats, but just be wary of this matchup.

Jayshon Jackson – Ball State WR ($5500 DK / $7500 FD)

If you're playing Paddock at QB, then getting one of his top receivers into the same lineup is a good idea. It's either Jayshon Jackson or Yo'Heinz Tyler, who are both viable options in cash at some affordable prices. Jackson gets the slight nod as he's put up 18+ DK in four of the last six games with a healthy amount of receptions/targets every week. Jackson was Ball State's top receiver last year and he's doing it again.

DeVontez Walker – Kent State WR ($5300 DK / $9400 FD)

Cephus is the headliner and more well-known name in the Kent State receiving corps, but Walker is outperforming him lately. Walker has 21+ DK in four of the last five contests and has scored eight TDs over eight games this season. He really shouldn't be priced below Cephus on DK, so it makes him a bargain. Ball State has been solid against the pass, but Walker should do enough to return value.

Justin Marshall – Buffalo WR ($5000 DK / $7200 FD)

There are a few Buffalo receivers worth rostering tonight and it might just come down to how much salary you have left. There's Marshall, Williams, and Gassett as all cheaper ways to get exposure to Buffalo's passing attack in a great matchup. Marshall has been more involved lately compared to Williams, but both have the upside to score a TD with 5-6 catches and return value.
