CFB DFS Quarterbacks Week 11

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
C.J. StroudOSUIU950025.41150023.96
Stroud is expensive, but the Heisman favorite is always in play. People may stay away in cash because of the ugly 10.9 DK points last week where he only threw for 76 yards. Still, he should bounce back against a below-average Indiana pass defense that’s allowing 264 passing yards per game (107th in FBS). There are cheaper QBs who are better cash options, but Stroud is good for GPP with 40+ DFS points in play.
Jayden DanielsLSUARK850029.961100028.92
Daniels is on a roll right now and he looks a lot more comfortable running the LSU offense than he did a month ago. He put up 32 DK last week in the upset over Alabama and had 51 DK in both of the two games prior. The LSU dual-threat has been getting it done both through the air and on the ground and gets a nice matchup here against a bad Arkansas pass defense allowing 302.1 passing yards per game (129th). Daniels will be a popular cash QB this week with how hot he’s going and in a high-total game.
Tanner MordecaiSMUUSF810028.61
Mordecai went nuclear last week with 10 total TDs (nine passing, one rush) and 65 DK points in a shootout with Houston. Wow, well, that’ll certainly make him popular in all formats this week at a good price on DK. The SMU QB also gets a very favorable matchup here against a bad South Florida defense that’s giving up 343 passing yards per game in conference play (127th in FBS). We should see Mordecai put up 25-30 DFS points with, obviously, the ceiling for much more.
Dillon GabrielOUWVU800024.261020023.26
It’s crazy to think that Gabriel could go overlooked on this slate with Daniels and Mordecai possibly being more popular in cash. Nevertheless, the Oklahoma QB should be strongly considered in cash with a smash matchup against a poor West Virginia defense. During Big 12 play, WVU is giving up 315.2 passing yards and three pass TDs per game. Gabriel just put up 28 DK last week against Baylor and 33 DK two games ago against Kansas.
Malik HornsbyARKLSU59005.1854004.51
It’s possible Hornsby starts for Arkansas with KJ Jefferson dealing with an injury. We’ll know early with this game vs. LSU kicking off at 12 ET. If that’s the case, then Hornsby is an intriguing GPP QB who will be low-rostered. He brings some dual-threat ability into the mix and LSU’s defense has struggled against the run at times. Hornsby racked up 114 rushing yards, 234 passing yards, and 25 DK in relief of Jefferson earlier this season.
Hunter DekkersISUOKST570018.9
We’ve been targeting the bad Oklahoma State pass defense all season and we’ll do it again with Dekkers. The Iowa State offense is very pass-heavy with Dekkers averaging 39.5 attempts per game. He doesn’t always put up the yardage or TDs, but he can take advantage of an OK St defense that’s giving up 300+ pass yards per game during conference play. Dekkers had 308 yards and 19 DK vs. Oklahoma two weeks ago and 328 yards and 31 DK vs. Texas the game prior. He's a solid Super-Flex on DK.
Katravis MarshUSFSMU500012.22
Marsh makes for a really interesting cheap QB on the DK slate. He’ll face a subpar SMU defense that just gave up over 500 passing yards and seven TDs to Houston last week. Marsh has been decent in his two starts since replacing Gerry Bohanon, who’s out for the season. He’s put up 17 and 18 DK in the contests and we’ll take that at just 5k.

Also Consider:

  • Bryce Young – Alabama (GPP)
  • Hendon Hooker – Tennessee (GPP)
  • Jaxson Dart – Ole Miss (GPP)
  • Michael Pratt – Tulane (Cash)
  • Brady Cook – Missouri (GPP)

CFB DFS Running Backs Week 11

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Jahmyr GibbsBAMAMISS870023.96940020.79
Despite Alabama getting upset last week, Gibbs was very productive with 24 DK on 99 rushing yards (6.6 ypc) and eight catches for 64 yards. We could see Bama lean on Gibbs and the ground game in this game to get back on track and keep the ball out of Ole Miss’ hands. The Rebels have struggled against the run in SEC play, allowing 185 rush yards per game and 4.58 ypc. Gibbs can get back to 20+ carries, 100+ rushing yards, and close to 30 DK as a great play in all formats.
Blake CorumMICHNEB830027.821040025.38
Corum continues to put up numbers in Michigan’s run-heavy offense and now he gets a great matchup against Nebraska. The Cornhuskers’ defense is allowing 182.9 rushing yards and two rush TDs per game this season. Corum has run for at least 100 yards and a TD with 20+ DK in six straight games and he’s usually doing a lot more than that. You can fire him up in cash with confidence, though backup Donovan Edwards will see plenty of work as well.
Eric GrayOUWVU760021.77880018.32
Gray has had some huge games lately with 36, 21, and 39 DK over the past three contests. He’s also seeing a bellcow-level workload with at least 22 touches in all three after splitting touches with Marcus Major and Jovante Barnes earlier in season. Now he faces a poor WVU defense that’s allowing 173.8 rush yards and 2+ rush TDs per game during conference play. You can roster in cash or GPP and feel good about it.
Miyan WilliamsOSUIU730018.9850017.52
Williams and TreVeyon Henderson seem to be trading off games where they are active/healthy and putting up big numbers as Ohio State’s lead back. It was Williams last game with Henderson out and he racked up 111 yards, two TDs, and 26 DK on 26 carries. We’ll see if that’s the case again this week or if Henderson returns. If Williams is the guy with Henderson out, we should strongly consider in a good matchup against a subpar Indiana rush defense.
Quinshon JudkinsMISSBAMA700024.3870023.23
People may stay away from playing Judkins against Alabama, but it’s impossible to ignore his production lately and all season. The freshman RB is averaging 115 rushing yards and 24 DK per game with at least one rush TD in all but one contest. He’s also getting fed carries lately with 34, 25, and 25 attempts in the last three games. That volume and Ole Miss’ dedication to the run will give Judkins a great DFS floor every week – even if Bama sells out to shut him down.
Donovan EdwardsMICHNEB560017.1800015.24
As mentioned above, Michigan gets a good matchup here against Nebraska’s bad defense that’s allowing plenty of production on the ground. Blake Corum will do his thing, but Edwards can also have success here in a likely blowout and Michigan possibly resting Corum in the second half. Edwards has been getting more work lately with 18 touches, 161 total yards, a TD and 28 DK last week and 17 touches, 194 total yards, two TDs, and 35 DK three games ago. He makes for an excellent GPP cheap option.
Justin Johnson Jr.WVUOU46007.668007.85
If Tony Mathis is out again like he’s been the past two games, then Johnson will be West Virginia’s lead back with CJ Donaldson out for the year. Johnson hasn’t done much with the opportunity the past two outings with Mathis out, but this is too good of a matchup to ignore. The OU defense is giving up a whopping 240 rushing yards per game (126th in FBS), 5.8 ypc, and 19 rush TDs over six games during conference play. Targeting opposing backs against OU has been paying off, so Johnson is a great GPP value who can smash value.
Josh WilliamsLSUARK410010.766009.64
Williams is still really affordable despite being LSU’s best back lately. John Emery and Armoni Goodwin are still involved, but Williams is doing a ton when he’s getting the ball. He has at least 15 DK in three straight games and has averaged at least 7.0 yards per carry in two of those – including last week against Alabama. He faces an Arkansas rush defense that’s been bad during conference play, allowing 178 rush yards per game and 14 rush TDs over five contests. Williams is a solid cash play for value.
Cartevious NortonISUOKST39006.98
It seems like there is a changing-of-the-guard in the Iowa State backfield with Norton getting 22 touches and 18 carries last week while Jirehl Brock only saw four carries. Norton ended up with 24 DK and scored twice last game while operating as the lead back. He gets a great matchup against a bad Ok St rush defense that’s giving up 206 rushing yards per game and 5.4 ypc during conference play. There's plenty of upside here for cash or GPP.
Tyler LavineSMUUSF340010.21
Lavine might be the biggest mispricing on the DK slate. He’s been SMU’s lead back the last two games with Tre Siggers, Velton Gardner, and TJ McDaniel all dealing with injuries. The increased role led to 25 and 26 DK in those contests, including 146 rushing yards on 25 carries last week and three TDs and 17 carries the game before. It’s risky if Lavine continues as the RB1 with some of those guys potentially returning. Still, this is a great matchup against South Florida’s bad rush defense.

Also Consider:

  • Chase Brown – Illinois (Cash)
  • Raheim Sanders – Arkansas (Cash)
  • Will Shipley – Clemson (GPP/Cash)
  • Tyjae Spears – Tulane (GPP)
  • RJ Harvey – UCF (GPP)
  • Nicholas Singleton – Penn State (Cash)

CFB DFS Wide Receivers Week 11

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Rashee RiceSMUUSF840026.53
Rice is always in play if SMU is on the slate and he should be heavily considered in all formats this week. The South Florida defense is giving up 343 pass yards per game during conference play (127th) and 16 pass TDs allowed over five AAC contests. Now it has to face SMU’s offense? Yikes! Rice has 42 and 29 DK the past two games and could post huge numbers in this matchup.
Xavier HutchinsonISUOKST830025.92
Hutchinson continues to be one of the surest things in DFS CFB this season. The Iowa State wideout is averaging 9.7 receptions and 105.9 yards per game and just put up 10 catches, 123 yards, a TD and 31 DK last week. He keeps getting it done and now gets to face the terrible Ok State pass defense. Even if ISU was facing a good defense, Hutchinson will always get his. It’s tough to fade him in cash at this point.
Marvin Harrison Jr.OSUIU790023.31970019.03
Last week was a down one for OSU’s passing attack and Harrison “only” had five catches for 51 yards. Still, the ceiling for 100+ yards, multiple TDs and 30-40 DFS points is always in play for Ohio State’s top receiver. This week presents a great bounceback opportunity at home against a subpar Indiana defense. It’s tough to pay up for Harrison in cash, but he’s always a high-upside GPP play.
Jalin HyattTENNMIZZ730027.11990021.70
Georgia bottled up Tennessee’s high-scoring offense last week, but Hytatt still had six catches for 63 yards. This week presents a nice bounceback spot for the Vols and Hooker to get back to his slate-breaking ways. Before last game, he had 11 total TDs over the previous four games with some big stat lines. Still, limit rostering Hyatt to GPPs because Missouri’s pass defense is actually statistically better than Georgia during SEC play.
Xavier WeaverUSFSMU590019.35
We mentioned above the potential for Marsh and the USF passing attack to have success against SMU this week. That puts Weaver and Jimmy Horn Jr. ($5100) in play on the DK slate. Weaver has been a solid floor play all year with a consistent target share. That hasn’t changed with Marsh under center. He had seven catches for 84 yards two weeks ago and then six receptions for 119 yards and two TDs last game. Weaver and Horn are both good plays, especially if you want to game stack this one.
Kayshon BoutteLSUARK530010.1263007.17
Boutte is still too cheap on both sites for his talent and improved play lately. He has at least six catches in three of the last four games, including a 20 DK effort against Florida and seven grabs last week against Alabama. The rapport with Jayden Daniels has improved a ton after being almost non-existent earlier in the year. Boutte and the LSU passing attack will face a bad Arkansas secondary that’s allowing almost 300 passing yards per game in conference play. He could be popular in cash lineups at these cheap prices.
Matt LandersARKLSU500015.25770011.94
Landers has come on big lately with 35, 18 and 20 DK in the past three games. The true freshman is a favorite target for KJ Jefferson and he’s now entered DFS cash territory with more receiving work than earlier in the season. If Jefferson is out, then it’s a risky play. But if Jefferson plays, Landers is too cheap on DK at just 5k.
Jaylin NoelISUOKST490012.21
If you want to target the Oklahoma State pass defense but don’t want to pay all the way up Hutchinson, then Noel is a fine cheaper option. Noel had just two touches last week, but he had at least six grabs in three of the previous four outings. There’s GPP upside here in a favorable matchup if Noel can reach the end zone or rack up enough receptions as a short-yardage target for Hunter Dekkers.
Joseph NgataCLEMUL45008.0760006.73
Ngata could step into an increased target share this week with Beaux Collins out. Though he really hasn’t done much this year with Clemson’s passing game struggling, the expanded role should be there as the top receiver in the offense. Ngata is cheap enough on both sites to consider for GPP lineups.
Dylan GoffneySMUUSF30009.8
The SMU receiving corps is really banged up right now and Goffney is benefiting from increased opportunities. He went for 100 yards and a TD last week after having 116 yards and a TD two games prior. That’s 22+ DK in two of the last three games. He’s no Rashee Rice, but Goffney is a nice min price GPP flier for big upside against a bad South Florida pass defense. RJ Maryland ($3500) is also a cheap SMU pass-catcher to consider.

Also Consider:

  • Charlie Jones – Purdue (Cash)
  • Marvin Mims – Oklahoma (GPP)
  • Ja'Corey Brooks – Alabama (GPP)
  • Kobe Hudson – UCF (GPP)
  • Bryson Green – Oklahoma State (Cash)
  • Kaleb Smith – Virginia Tech (Cash)
  • Jimmy Horn Jr. – USF (GPP)
  • Tyrick James – Tulane (Cash)
  • Luke Schoonmaker – Michigan (GPP)
