The final College Football Playoff rankings reflect the exciting changes from a thrilling conference championship weekend. Oregon maintained its No. 1 spot with a perfect 13-0 record, solidifying its status as the best team in the country after a strong win in the Big Ten title game. 

Georgia jumped to No. 2, moving up three places after an exciting victory in the SEC Championship. Texas and Penn State each dropped one spot to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, after narrow losses in those matchups. Notre Dame rounded out the top five, falling one position despite not playing. 

Boise State and Indiana climbed to Nos. 9 and 8, respectively, due to impressive finishes, while SMU fell to No. 10 after a tough loss in the ACC title game. Arizona State made a significant move, rising three spots to No. 12 with an outstanding performance in the Big 12 Championship.
