And just like that, it’s the final week of the regular season for almost all college football teams across the country.

Bowl game, conference championship and CFP berths are all at stake with this final week, so clearly, the stakes are at their peak. Week 14, as always, is headlined by The Game in Columbus.

We have a prop listed for that one, but mostly, we’re eyeing some of the other matchups in our Week 14 CFB best bets, so let’s get into it!

CFB Picks, Predictions & Best Bets: Saturday, 11/30

It’s been yet another week of successful midweek CFB best bets, currently sitting at 2-0 in Week 14 with another wager out for the game on Thursday night.

As I mentioned in that article, we’ll even have a separate CFB picks piece for all the games taking place on Friday with there being so many. We fell just short of the green last Saturday, but I’m loving what I’m seeing from this slate, hence the two 1.5-unit wager below.

Here’s my official Kansas vs. Baylor prediction, Arizona State vs. Arizona prediction, NC State vs. North Carolina prediction and more!

Kansas vs. Baylor Prediction: Saturday, November 30th

Is there a team in the country playing with more confidence than the Jayhawks right now? They’re riding a 3-game winning streak in which the offense has been the prime catalyst. Even all season, when the wins weren’t piling up, Kansas’ offense was still elite.

RB Devin Neal leads the way as the team averages 212.2 rushing yards per game, good for 14th in the nation. The Jayhawks have also put up 27+ points in 7 of their last 8 games. Now they get a matchup against the Bears, who have allowed 28 points in 7 of their last 8 games.

The Kansas defense, though, has also been rather generous in the points department. That’s where this Baylor offense can really make its mark considering they’re already 27th in NCAAF in scoring per game at 33.7 points. They’re extremely balanced and have continued to surpass expectations all season thanks to QB Sawyer Robertson.

Before last week, against a tough Houston defense, they had put up at least 37 points in 4 straight games. I’m not quite sure how this game turns out regarding the winner, but I’m fairly confident points will be scored, which is where the first of my CFB best bets will land.

Arizona State vs. Arizona Prediction: Saturday, November 30th

Another portion of this CFB best bets article will revolve around scoring. On the season, the Wildcats have been fairly inconsistent on offense, but recently, they’ve tightened things up. They have 27+ points in back-to-back games and 26+ in 3 of their last 4.

Tetairoa McMillan has the chance to have a monster game whenever he steps on the field, and for how good the ASU defense has been as a whole, their pass defense is what offenses should be looking to attack (75th in the country). Even if they can’t explode, they should be able to reach the 20-point plateau just as 4 of ASU’s past 5 opponents have done.

Speaking of the Sun Devils, Cam Skattebo. That is all. Seriously though, they could probably just ride him the whole game and wind up with 20+ easily. They’ve amassed at least 24 points in 4 straight contests and will now face a dreadful Arizona defense.

The Wildcats are 103rd in opponents points per game (30.2) and 93rd in rushing yards allowed (164.3). Rivalry game or not, I feel like this is a game where both teams wind up with final scores in the 20s. So much so that I’ll put a unit and a half on this wager.

NC State vs. North Carolina Prediction: Saturday, November 30th

Finally, we’ll end our CFB best bets for Week 14 on another in-state matchup. I’ll actually keep this one short and sweet. Neither team has stood out all that much on either side of the ball this season. Neither of them have any stats, or even players, that really pop off the screen.

It’s the epitome of an average matchup, but I’m all here for it for narrative reasons. Tar Heels head coach Mack Brown was just let go this week, but will continue to coach the team in the regular season finale. What better way to send your coach out than with a victory over an in-state foe? You can bet they’ll be riled up to do exactly that.

Take a look at Charlotte last week, who fired their head coach during the week prior. The 49ers entered as just slight favorites but wound up easily covering, playing inspired football in honor of their ex head coach.

This is a completely different instance, and the Wolfpack themselves will be playing for something here (bowl eligibility), but I just don’t think it’ll be enough. Add in the fact that UNC is at home in this one and all signs are pointing to a comfortable Tar Heel victory.
