College Basketball PrizePicks CBB Top Picks November 10
Justice Sueing, Ohio State – OVER 13.5 Points
Sueing is back for Ohio State after playing just two games last year and missing the rest of the season with an abdominal/groin injury. When healthy, the power forward is a talented scorer and might be the Buckeyes’ top offensive option this year with EJ Liddell and Malaki Branham gone. Sueing went off for a team-high 20 points in Monday’s season opener and looked pretty healthy. He also had a whopping 32% usage rate and took 13 shots as the offense mostly went through him. This is a great sign of things to come and he can score 15+ again tonight in an easy matchup against Charleston Southern. The blowout factor is in play, but Sueing had 12 points before halftime last game.
Dane Goodwin, Notre Dame – OVER 19.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
Goodwin has been a fine role player for Notre Dame over the previous four years, but the senior is now expected to take on a bigger role this season. Blake Wesley, Prentiss Hubb, and Paul Atkinson are all gone from last year's squad and it moves Goodwin into more offensive responsibility. He's also more important tonight with transfer Marcus Hammond sidelined. Goodwin had 21 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists in the Irish's exhibition game and could post similar numbers tonight in the season opener. This line of 19.5 combined points/rebounds/assists is largely based on Goodwin's averages last season of 13.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. Expect an uptick on all of those stats starting tonight.
Frankie Collins, Arizona State – OVER 22.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
After transferring over from Michigan, Collins is now the starting point guard and offensive catalyst for Arizona State. He was usually buried on the bench with the Wolverines, but the former top-50 recruit looks like the main guy for the Sun Devils. Collins put up 21 points, four assists, and three rebounds in the season opener while launching 24 shot attempts and logging team-high’s in minutes (37) and usage rate (34%). The Arizona State attack should continue to flow through him at the point. ASU is favored by 15.5 points tonight, which means Collins could play huge minutes once again if it’s close in the second half.
Others To Consider:
- Dajuan Harris Jr., Kansas – OVER 16.5 Pts+Rebs+Asts
- Arthur Kaluma, Creighton – OVER 25.1 Fantasy Score
- Bryce Thompson, Oklahoma State – OVER 13.5 Points
