College Basketball CBB DFS Picks

CBB DFS Top Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Ryan NembhardGONZSFO810028.82
Though he hasn’t consistently performed like a top-tier guard this year, Ryan Nembhard is in that category for tonight’s smaller slate. The Gonzaga point guard is playing well lately with 34+ DK in four of the past six games while averaging 12.5 points, 7.0 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 30 DK over the past 10 games. He fills the stat sheet plenty for the uptempo Zags as a top cash or GPP play.
Frankie CollinsASUORE790031.97820029.81
Frankie Collins has been Arizona State’s top playmaker all season and it’s carried right over into conference play. The ASU point guard is averaging 14.4 points, 8+ assists/rebounds, and 2.8 steals per game over the past 10 contests with 31 DK per. Collins is in a consistent high-usage role with heavy shot volume and it keeps his DFS production at a safe cash level.
Caleb LoveARIZORST780032.21830029.83
Caleb Love continues to be the headliner for Arizona’s fast-paced, high-scoring offense. He’s averaging 21.4 PPG and 33 DK over the past 10 games. Love takes a ton of shots every game while leading Zona in usage and shot rate during conference play. Despite playing on the road in a pace-down spot, it’s still Oregon State and a terrible defense. Love should come through with another top-tier performance and it’s a good bounce-back opportunity after he “only” had 14 points and 21 DK last game.
Jermaine CouisnardOREASU750028.65750026.49
In Pac-12 play, Jermaine Couisnard has been one of Oregon’s top players. He’s averaging 15.3 PPG and 30 DK over the past 10 games and has a 24% shot rate during conference games. Couisnard is shooting 45% from three vs Pac-12 opponents so far while taking 5-10 threes per game. This is a pace-boost home matchup for Oregon and we should see Couisnard be heavily involved offensively once again as a top cash or GPP option.
Marcus WilliamsSFOGONZ720026.71
San Francisco gets a notable pace-boost vs Gonzaga tonight and in order to keep it close, Marcus Williams should play a big role. The San Fran point guard is coming off his worst game of the season vs Saint Mary’s, but this can be a bounceback spot. Williams has the GPP upside to score 20+ points with 30+ DK when he’s more active offensively. The uptempo game flow benefits the Don’s guards with Williams and Malik Thomas firmly in play.

CBB DFS Value Guards

Adam MillerASUORE580020.44540018.29
Adam Miller has been an up-and-down DFS value since he became eligible for Arizona State in December. Miller has 20-30 DK in five of nine games so far this season and brings more upside when he’s taking more shots and being more assertive offensively. Unfortunately, his shooting efficiency isn’t consistent enough to trust in cash. Still, the GPP value is there as long as he’s priced below 6k on both sites.
Kylan BoswellARIZORST570021.94570019.88
Tonight presents a buy-low opportunity on Kylan Boswell, who’s coming off three straight subpar games. At his best, Boswell can put up 25-30 DFS points easily. Yet, his role, shot volume, and usage fluctuate from game to game. The easy matchup vs Oregon State can be a get-right spot of sorts for Boswell. He’s tough to trust in cash but can exceed value in GPPs while priced below 6k on both sites.
Brennan RigsbyOREASU530015.58480014.23
Finding any Oregon values has been a frustrating exercise this season. The Ducks run a 9-10 man rotation with minutes fluctuating on a game-by-game basis. You can roster any of them in GPPs but just know they are risky. One potential upside value is Brennan Rigsby. He’s at least a regular starter and has 20+ DK in two of the past four games. He’s cheap enough on both sites to throw out there on this small slate.
Rondel WalkerUNTSMU410014.64
Rondel Walker comes off the bench for North Texas but he’s still playing 30 minutes or so per game. Walker’s playing time has seen an uptick with both Rubin Jones and John Buggs out. He’s averaging a decent 16 DK over the past five games since getting more minutes. If Jones and Buggs are out again tonight, then Walker is in play as a salary-saver. CJ Noland is also a value from North Texas to consider.

Jonathan MogboSFOGONZ960038.84
Jonathan Mogbo has been a beast for San Francisco, averaging 16 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 39 DK over the past 10 games. He’s a threat to post a 20-point double-double with 40-50 DFS points on a nightly basis and deserves to be the most expensive guy on the DK slate. Tonight, limit him to GPPs because he’ll face Gonzaga on the road and the WCC’s top-ranked interior defense. Mogbo just struggled vs Saint Mary’s last game, so it’s possible he struggles in another tough matchup here.
Anton WatsonGONZSFO800032.19
Anton Watson does so much for Gonzaga and it usually makes him a high-floor cash play for DFS. The power forward is averaging 14.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 32 DK over the past 10 games. He only has two bad statistical games over the past two months and both came in blowout wins. Otherwise, Watson is pumping out 30+ DFS points on a near-regular basis.
N'Faly DanteOREASU770033.62850031.52
Since returning from injury, N’Faly Dante has been boom or bust. He just exploded for 23 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 51 DK last game. Dante also only had 21 and 12 DK in the two previous games while battling foul issues. When Dante is dominating the paint on both ends, he’s a top-tier play with massive upside to break the slate. Tonight could be another big performance as Arizona St is a terrible rebounding team and not great defensively inside.
Oumar BalloARIZORST740029.07780027.42
Oumar Ballo can be inconsistent for DFS and real life, but he’s on a roll right now. The Arizona center has 30+ DK in four straight games while averaging 12.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 32 DK over the past 10 games. Oregon St is not strong defensively inside and is a poor rebounding team, so Ballo can easily get a double-double with 30 DFS points or so here. He might be better suited for GPP lineups, but he’s getting it done in cash as well lately.
Tyler BilodeauORSTARIZ650023.51670022.11
One look at Tyler Bilodeau’s game logs tell you how much of a boom-or-bust GPP play he tends to be. He can score 20 points or so with 30 DK one night and then be held to single-digit points and less than 20 DK the next. It’s been up-and-down for the Oregon State wing all year and it makes him impossible to roster in cash. In GPPs, though, is a different story. Bilodeau will benefit from the huge pace-boost matchup and can still score plenty even when his team loses big.

CBB DFS Value Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Ndewedo NewburySFOGONZ570018.38
Ndewedo Newbury isn’t a big name for San Francisco, but he’s still very much in play tonight. First off, the pace-boost matchup is beneficial with Gonzaga playing at a quick tempo. The Zags have a strong inside defense but can be beaten on the perimeter via the three-pointer. Newbury is San Fran’s best 3-point shooter, making 48% from deep in conference play. He has 30+ DK upside when he’s making threes.
Robert AllenUNTSMU560020.35
Despite the low-total matchup, Robert Allen is in play as a value for the DK slate. The big man doesn’t start but he’s still playing 25-30 minutes per game right now in a tight North Texas rotation. Allen is averaging 21 DK over the past four games with double-digit rebounds in three of the past six. Even when North Texas plays in slow-paced games, Allen has been putting up numbers.
Alonzo GaffneyASUORE510017.82530016.47
Alonzo Gaffeny’s recent game logs don’t offer much confidence. Still, he does have the ability to post about 20 DFS points or more – which he’s done in 11 of 18 games this season. The ASU big man doesn’t have a huge role offensively but he does tend to do just enough across the stat sheet to return value. Gaffney can stretch the floor with some three-point range and that could be key in this matchup vs Oregon to force N'Faly Dante out of the paint.
Motiejus KrivasARIZORST460015.69480014.96
The playing time and DFS value aren’t consistent for Motiejus Krivas as Arizona’s backup center behind Oumar Ballo. Yet, he tends to play more in blowout wins and tonight could be one of those with Zona favored big over Oregon St. When Krivas gets 14 or more minutes this season, he’s averaging 23 DK per game with at least 20 DK in seven of those nine games. We’ll take that all day at his sub-5k prices on both sites but, again, you’re betting on an Arizona blowout.
