Wednesday night's CBB DFS slate is another jam-packed one, so let's dive into top plays and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. You can build college basketball DFS lineups on DK with the 10-game slate starting at 6:30 pm ET and on FanDuel's 6-game slate at 7 pm ET. Some of the top teams in action tonight include Marquette, Alabama, Iowa State, Duke, Creighton, Auburn, and Tennessee. Let's now take a look at the top CBB DFS picks and plays for Wednesday night.

Note that there is a later DraftKings slate that starts at 9 pm ET with the late-night games. Two of those (Alabama vs Ole Miss and Seton Hall vs Creighton) are on the FD main slate, though. So that's why only the FD prices are included for those two matchups.

All college basketball odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook and the KenPom team totals are up to date as of this publishing but keep an eye on any line movement. Good luck with your CBB DFS lineups tonight!

College Basketball CBB DFS Picks

CBB DFS Top Guards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
KJ SimpsonCOLCAL900036.93
On the DK slate, we have Colorado at home in a higher-total matchup vs Cal. It puts KJ Simpson right on our radar as a top cash guard. The Buffs’ stat-stuffing point guard is averaging 20 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 39 DK over the past 10 games. He has 20+ points and 40+ DK in five of the last seven too. Simpson is a strong play despite the expensive price tag.
Tyler KolekMARQPROV870036.04870033.30
Outside of that one dud vs UConn, Tyler Kolek has otherwise been elite for Marquette lately. He’s averaging 16.5 points, 9.5 assists, and 40 DK over the past 10 contests with 34+ DK in nine of the last 11 games. Kolek was awesome vs Providence earlier this season with 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 39 DK. In this home rematch, expect him to be great again as a top-tier play in all formats.
Baylor ScheiermanCRESHU  850034.33
On the FD slate, we get Baylor Scheierman and Kadary Richmond both firmly in play as high-usage cash studs in the Seton Hall vs Creighton game. Richmond should be a fine play, but Scheierman is safer at home and he’s due for a bounceback after a down effort last game in the loss to St. John’s. He had a stat-stuffing 45 FD points in the first meeting vs Seton Hall and we’ll likely see another good performance here.
Jahmir YoungUMDNW840036.06810033.32
Even in a low-scoring game, Jahmir Young can still perform like a top-tier cash guard tonight. His DFS floor is so high with the heavy offensive usage and large shot volume as Maryland’s offensive alpha. Young went off for 36 points and 52 DK in the first meeting vs Northwestern and now gets the home rematch this time. He’s averaging 20.7 PPG and 36 DK over the past 10 games and is one of the safest high-priced guards on the slate.
Jared McCainDUKEUL770025.4
Besides the recent dud in a blowout win vs Miami, Jared McCain has mostly been the guy for Duke over the past month-plus. He’s averaging 15.9 points and 31 DK over the past 10 games and has exploded for multiple 35-45 DK outings in this stretch. This is an easy home matchup against the ACC’s worst defense with Louisville also giving Duke a pace boost. The blowout factor should be considered, but McCain should do plenty with GPP upside – especially if Filipowski is out.
Matthew MurrellMISSBAMA  710027.27
On the FD slate, we have the Alabama vs Ole Miss matchup boasting the highest total of the night. For Ole Miss, the two studs to consider are Allen Flanigan and Matthew Murrell. Both guys are in play with the home pace-boost, but Murrell is the slightly better per-dollar option. Murrell was terrible last game but this is a good bounceback spot in a fast-paced matchup. He averaged 20 PPG and 30 FD points in the previous six games and can get back to that level.

DJ DavisBUTLESTJN610023.63610021.86
DJ Davis has not been lighting it up like he was previously, but we could easily see him return to that level tonight. This is still the same guy who was scoring 20+ points and 30+ DK on a regular basis not too long ago. He also had 25 points and 32 DK vs St. John’s earlier this season. It’s a good buy-low opportunity on Davis in a home pace-boost spot if he gets from deep.
Tyrese ProctorDUKEUL570020.89
In two games since returning from a concussion, Tyrese Proctor has 25 and 21 DK with double-digit points scored in both. His shot volume is also returning to the higher level we saw it at earlier in conference play. Tonight is a great chance for Proctor to keep it going in an easy home pace-boost matchup against Louisville’s ACC-worst defense. He’ll be even more involved offensively if Filipowski is out or limited too.
Jordan DingleSTJNBUTLE560017.79480016.24
After some inconsistent play throughout conference action, Jordan Dingle has been a lot better in the past two games. He’s scored 22 and 18 points with 35 and 20 DK, respectively. He’s taking double-digit shots on a regular basis right now and looks to be playing with more confidence. It’s also notable that these past two performances have come right after Rick Pitino’s blowup, so maybe this is a sign of things to come moving forward.
Jordan GeronimoUMDNW470015.32460014.40
After recently missing time with a knee injury, Jordan Geronimo returned to his stat-stuffing ways over the weekend with a double-double and 29 DK. Usually we won’t get that high-end rebounding from the wing role player, but Geronimo does tend to do plenty in multiple stat categories to return value. He’s a bargain below 5k on both sites for the potential 4x or 5x return. He had 27 DK vs Northwestern earlier this season and should give us 20-25 DFS points or better in this home rematch.
Luke O'BrienCOLCAL440015.4
With Julian Hammond out recently, Luke O’Brien has stepped into a bigger role for Colorado. He has 17 DK in back-to-back games with Hammond hurt and that production can continue tonight at home if his teammate remains sidelined. Check on Hammond’s status as he deals with a knee injury but if he’s out, then O’Brien should be locked into more minutes and it raises his cash floor.
Aden HollowayAUBTENN420015.58430014.19
Aden Holloway moved back into Auburn’s starting lineup last game and instantly had 15 points with 22 DK in 28 minutes. It was his best game since December after being stuck in a slump throughout conference play. Maybe this gets him going? It’s a tough road matchup at Tennessee but if Holloway starts again, his DFS floor and upside are clearly higher and he's very cheap on both sites.

CBB DFS Top Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Johni BroomeAUBTENN900036.64900034.43
First off, rostering a high-priced guy on the road vs Tennesse’s elite defense is very risky. Still, Johni Broome always has the upside for a double-double, multiple blocks, and 40-50 DFS points at his best. The Auburn center is averaging 17.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, and 39 DK over the past 10 games and has performed well in some road conference games so far. He’s hard to trust in cash but can certainly break the slate in GPP lineups.
Ryan KalkbrennerCRESHU  850032.81
Ryan Kalkbrenner continues to be a consistent cash stud with GPP upside as well. The Creighton center is averaging 19.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks over the past 10 games with no less than 29 FD points in 15 straight games. Kalkbrenner is as safe as it gets at the top end of forwards on the FD slate and he was excellent vs Seton Hall last month with 28 points, 9 boards, 7 blocks, and 50 FD.
Julian ReeseUMDNW820033.7810031.31
Julian Reese has been a strong cash forward lately while averaging 14.8 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 33 DK over the past 10 games. The Maryland offense essentially revolves around him down low and Jahmir Young in the backcourt, keeping both of their DFS floors high. Reese wasn’t great vs Northwestern in the prior meeting but his DFS and real-life production picks up at home. He’s a safe option at the top end of forwards.
Jonas AidooTENNAUB760028.32730026.93
Jonas Aidoo has been an up-and-down GPP play for most of the year, but he’s playing a lot more consistently lately. The Tennessee big man has 38, 29, 31, and 41 DK in the past four games and is averaging just under 30 DK over the past 10 contests. Despite this higher level of play recently, we have to still consider Aidoo an upside GPP play tonight. This head-to-head matchup vs Johni Broome is a tough one, even at home, and Aidoo could be more limited as a scorer and rebounder.
Joel SorianoSTJNBUTLE720032.62780030.69
Joel Soriano went through a slump recently, but he’s back to his stud level now. The St. John’s center has 37, 32, and 34 DK in the past three games and appears to be playing motivated after Rick Pitino called him out in that press conference. Soriano gets a favorable matchup against Butler’s weaker frontcourt. He had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 31 DK in the first meeting vs Butler and can easily repeat that stat line tonight. He’s also a bit underpriced on DK.

CBB DFS Value Forwards

PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Eddie Lampkin Jr.COLCAL570021.85
When Colorado faced Cal earlier this season, Eddie Lampkin went off for 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 41 DK. We likely won’t see a repeat of that stat line tonight, but it’s a good glimpse at his legit GPP upside. When Lampkin is dominating inside as a post scorer and rebounder, he can easily exceed value if priced below 6k like on tonight’s DK slate.
Micah HandlogtenUFMIZZ550019.81
Florida has a few boom-or-bust GPP values to consider tonight at home in a higher-scoring game vs Mizzou. The frontcourt options are Micah Handlogten and Alex Condon. As for Micah Handlogten, he’s the definition of “boom-or-bust” with 29 DK two games ago and just 8.7 DK last outing. He has double-double upside and can smash value but is way too inconsistent. It’s worth noting that Handlogten did have 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 32 DK vs Mizzou last month.
Moussa CisseMISSBAMA  440013.92
Moussa Cisse has not been very consistent in real life or for DFS to trust in cash. Still, he has plenty of GPP upside tonight in an uptempo, high-scoring game at home against an Alabama defense that’s had issues inside. Cisse just dropped 31 FD points last game in his best performance of the season, so hopefully he can carry that into tonight. If he does, he would smash his sub-5k price tag on the FD slate.
Chaney JohnsonAUBTENN470011.06400010.40
With Jaylin Williams out last game, Chaney Johnson got the start and had 16 points with 25 DK in a season-high 27 minutes. This was his best game of the season, so it’s tough to expect a repeat performance – especially on the road at Tennessee. However, his minutes and role should be higher again if Williams remains out. Williams is questionable, so check on his status before locking in Johnson.
Glenn Taylor Jr.STJNBUTLE400010.5740009.34
Glenn Taylor was previously barely cracking the St. John’s rotation, but that all changed last game. He put up a stat-stuffing 29 DK in 32 minutes while starting vs Creighton. Maybe this was a one-game outburst, but Taylor also may have earned a bigger role moving forward. If it’s the latter, then he’s a clear bargain at 4k flat on both sites for the potential 5x return or better.
Ryan YoungDUKEUL360010.12
Monitor Kyle Filipowski’s status because there’s a chance the Duke center sits out with a knee injury suffered in that infamous court storm. If he’s out, Ryan Young may end up starting with meaningful minutes to return value. Young has only cracked 20+ minutes three times this season but when he did, those were DK outputs of 19, 25 and 16. We’ll take that below 4k if Filipowski is indeed out or limited.
