CBB DFS Top Guards
Player | Team | Opp. | DK $ | DK FPPG | FD $ | FD FPPG |
Markquis Nowell | KSU | LSU | 8600 | 34.7
Nowell is a tad expensive, but he’s been excellent for Kansas State this week. The senior point guard has 34 and 48 DK in the last two games with double-digit assists in both. Yesterday’s performance of 29 points and 11 assists was certainly slate-breaking. The K-State offense will lean on his distribution and playmaking again in this matchup with LSU.
Santiago Vescovi | TENN | BUTLE | 8100 | 29.75
Vescovi is at a solid price point for being an ideal cash play among the expensive guards. The senior combo guard has at least 26 DK in every game thus far and will usually put up 30 DFS points or so with his stat-stuffing ability and ancillary stat production. In this matchup with Butler, the offense may lean on Vescovi’s playmaking more if others are struggling like they’ve done early in the season.
Anthony Black | ARK | SDSU | 7300 | 31.85
The freshman is shining bright in Maui this week. He has 26 points scored in both games thus far with 42 and 45 DK in the contests, including filled-up stat sheets. Black, like Ricky Council, is taking on a big role right now with Nick Smith out and that’ll continue tonight. Black has especially been more active offensively this week with double-digit shot attempts in both games and a high-usage point guard role.
Chase Audige | NW | AUB | 6800 | 30.6
Audige gets a slight price increase from yesterday, but he’s still a great play in all formats for sub-7k. The senior continues to fill up the stat sheet and was excellent last night with 20 points and 33 DK. He’ll be a great cash option once again in this pace-boost matchup against Auburn. |
Also Consider:
- Wendell Green Jr. – Auburn ($8000 DK) – Cash
- Josiah Jordan-James – Tennessee ($7700 DK) – GPP
- Ricky Council – Arkansas ($7600 DK) – Cash/GPP
- Adam Miller – LSU ($7200 DK) – GPP
- Landers Nolley – Cincinnati ($6700 DK) – GPP

Eric Hunter Jr | BUTLE | TENN | 5000 | 25.44
Butler has a ton of value options tonight. You can roll with Lukosius (outlined below), Jayden Taylor, Chuck Harris, or Eric Hunter all under 6k. As for Hunter, he’s the cheapest among them but offers a great cash floor at just $5000. The Purdue transfer is running the point for Butler now, which gives him assists and steals right away as a defensive-minded guard. He also has upside with 28 and 41 DK in the last two games when his shots are falling.
Micah Parrish | SDSU | ARK | 4900 | 16.35
Though he comes off the bench, Parrish offers some upside tonight at sub-5k. First off, he’s put up 24 and 17 DK in the last two games in Maui with double-digit points scored in both. Parrish is playing a key reserve role and is being asked to do more offensively with Matt Bradley struggling. Parrish has also been San Diego State’s best three-point shooter so far this season, which could make him more valuable in this potentially high-scoring matchup against Arkansas.
PJ Fuller II | UW | FRES | 4800 | 22.5
Fuller is one of a few values on Washington worth considering tonight. After mostly coming off the bench last year for the Huskies, the senior is now starting and running the point so far. The higher-usage role has led to double-digit points scored in three of four games and at least 17 DK each time out. He’s logging 30+ minutes per game and filling up the stat sheet in multiple ways to be a great cash salary-saver. |
Also Consider:
- Ty Berry – Northwestern ($5900 DK) – GPP
- Cameron Matthews – Mississippi State ($5600 DK) – Cash
- Rollie Worster – Utah ($5500 DK) – Cash
- Jayden Taylor – Butler ($5300 DK) – Cash
- Pierce Thomas – Butler ($4400 DK) – GPP

Tolu Smith | MSST | UTAH | 9000 | 33.7
This frontcourt matchup between Tolu Smith and Branden Carlson will be a fascinating one to watch. Chances are, one of them will be a great DFS play while the other struggles to be as effective and possibly deals with foul trouble. Smith is the better bet to have the upper hand against Carlson tonight. The Mississippi State big man has at least 28 DK in each game thus far and just went for 36 DK yesterday thanks to his 16 rebounds and six assists.
KJ Williams | LSU | KSU | 8500 | 33.85
As expected, Williams has been LSU's best player after following his coach over from Murray State. The big man is averaging 17.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 33 DK this season and has been a focal part of LSU’s offense in this week’s tournament. Williams had 33 points and 53 DK two days ago before putting up 19 points and 34 DK yesterday. Bank on him being a great cash play again tonight.
Keyontae Johnson | KSU | LSU | 8300 | 32.1
Johnson continues to be a top player for Kansas State with his 28 points, nine rebounds, and 43 DK last night. This offense largely revolves around him down low and Nowell at the point, so expect both to be heavily involved once again today vs. LSU. Johnson makes for a great cash option as we know he’ll get the usage, though he does have to contend with KJ Williams in the paint now.
Trevon Brazile | ARK | SDSU | 7200 | 27.9
Brazile is tough to trust in cash with Arkansas’ deep rotation and spread out production, but he has plenty of GPP upside. Though he doesn’t start for the Razorbacks, the athletic big man has gone off for at least 34 DK in three of five games this season. That includes his 17 points scored and 36 DK last night against Creighton. There’s plenty of upside for Brazile to outperform other top forwards on the slate, though facing San Diego State is a tough matchup. |
Also Consider:
- Manny Bates – Butler ($9300 DK) – GPP
- Johni Broome – Auburn ($8700 DK) – Cash

Simas Lukosius | BUTLE | TENN | 5700 | 29.75
Lukosius is another great value from Butler tonight. The sophomore wing has taken a step forward this season, averaging 14.3 PPG and regularly taking double-digit shots as one of Butler’s top scoring options. He has at least 25 DK in every game thus far and should be plenty active on both ends in tonight’s matchup with Tennessee.
Viktor Lakhin | CINCY | UL | 5500 | 24.04
Lakhin has been a value for us earlier this season and he’s still a great play because of the sub-6k price tag. The Russian center has at least 20 DK in every game this season while being extremely productive in limited playing time. He’s averaging 24 DK despite only logging 19 minutes per game so far. Look for Lakhin to have success in the paint as a post scorer and rebounder against a subpar Louisville frontcourt.
Jaylin Williams | AUB | NW | 4800 | 24.25
Even though Williams is usually the fourth or fifth scoring option for Auburn, he can do just enough to return DFS value at sub-5k. The senior power forward provides ancillary stats in multiple categories despite not being a top scorer for the Tigers. Williams has at least 15 DK in every game and 21+ DK in four of five games, including yesterday’s effort of 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
Keion Brooks Jr. | UW | FRES | 4300 | 26.62
Simply put, Brooks is a huge mispricing tonight and should be very chalky in all formats. The Kentucky transfer has a 28% usage rate and 27% shot share for Washington this season with 32 and 21 DK in his two games played. He recently dealt with a leg injury but was back last game, though still check on his status before this one. If playing and starting, Brooks is a near-lock. |
Also Consider:
- Jaedon LeDee – San Diego State ($5600 DK) – GPP
- Dylan Cardwell – Auburn ($5100 DK) – Cash
- David N'Guessan – Kansas State ($4700 DK) – GPP
- Franck Kepnang – Washington ($4600 DK) – GPP
- Braxton Meah – Washington ($4100 DK) – Cash
