Richaun Holmes (shoulder) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Bulls.
Holmes is set to miss his fifth straight game on Friday. Tristan Vukcevic can continue to take advantage of his absence as Washington’s backup center.
Max Strus (knee) is active for Friday’s game against the Knicks.
Strus missed Thursday’s game with a knee injury but will return to the mix. He should slot back into the rotation as a starter. Especially given all the injuries Cleveland is dealing with.
Josh Giddey (forearm) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Giddey has missed a game with his forearm injury recently but is fresh off a triple-double. Jevon Carter has a chance to return to relevance if Giddey is ruled out, as Chicago remains short on guards.
Jake Fraley is not in the lineup for Friday’s game against the Royals.
With left-hander Kris Bubic on the mound for the Royals, the Reds will go with Blake Dunn in right field while Fraley gets a night off; something that usually happens against southpaw pitchers.
Jamal Murray (hamstring) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Murray is in danger of missing a seventh straight game. The Nuggets’ new regime prefers Jalen Pickett, so he’ll likely start if Murray is ruled out again.
Darius Garland (toe) is probable for Friday’s game against the Knicks.
Garland sat against the Pacers but is ready to get back in the mix. He’ll likely have to do some heavy lifting as the lead guard with so many of his potential backcourt partners out.
