Welcome to the DFS Example Lineups for NFL Week 9!

SUNDAY MORNING NOTES:

Adam Thielen (hanstring) is expected to play in Week 9 -- helps Stefon Diggs as now coverge needs to be on both

DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is expected to play in Week 9 -- helps Alshon Jeffery but should also open things up for Zach Ertz

James Conner (shoulder) is not expected to play in Week 9

There's a report from ESPN's Ed Werder  saying there's "a chance" Patrick Mahomes (knee) plays in Week 9 -- still having trouble believing he could play. If he does, maybe he comes in should the Chiefs be playing from behind, but I am not buying into this with regard to my lineups. Not at the price the sites have him at and not even in a GPP tournament. If that burns me, well then so be it. We shouldn't be risking our money on that. UPDATE: Adam Schefter now reporting Mahomes is expected to miss Week 9.

The Lions put Tra Carson (hamstring) on IR. Ty Johnson supposedly returns to lead back status and maybe can be used as a flex option, but the Raiders run defense is strong and with the way Matt Patricia and Darrell Bevell abandon the run, I'll still look elsewhere.

Chris Herndon is active which kills any savings Ryan Griffin would have given you at TE.

**ALWAYS check the inactives page before finalizing your lineups

Just a few notes here about the lineups below...

The cash lineups were built solely off the players I put in the Playbook. These are the guys who, unless I have indicated otherwise, offer up the higher floor and will help you cash in your Double-Ups and 50/50s. For GPP tournaments, particularly the large-field ones, you need to find alternative routes to the cash line. I will utilize players from the Playbook and the DFS Dart Board to fill in the gaps, but what I am looking for are some lower-owned stacks that make sense based on expected game flow and other news. As you will see in this week's GPP lineups, there are some names I haven't discussed this week on the site, but have talked about during the week on the Fantasy Alarm Show on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. You will also notice, though, that others on the site have mentioned some of these players, so it's not like we're trying to hide anything from you.

**WATCH THE WEATHER**

WAS/BUF -- The reports of rain have been pushed back to later in the evening, so the only issue now is the cold and the wind. Temperatures are supposed to be in the low 30s with winds between 15-20 mph

Potential GPP Stacks I may be using this week (with players coming back):

Game Stacks:

Detroit Lions -- Stafford/Ty Johnson/Golladay or Marvin Jones /Danny Amendola   or Stafford/Golladay/Jones or Hockenson (Tyrell Williams and Darren Waller )

Oakland Raiders -- Derek Carr /Jacobs/Tyrell Williams or Carr/Williams/Waller (Golladay and Jones or Hockenson)

Seattle Seahawks -- Wilson/Carson/Lockett or Metcalf or Wilson/Lockett/Metcalf (Godwin and Evans or Brate)

Tampa Bay Bucanneers -- Winston/Godwin/Evans or Brate (Lockett and Metcalf)

NY Jets -- Darnold/Bell/Crowder or Anderson (DeVante Parker and Preston Williams)

Miami Dolphins -- Ryan Fitzpatrick /Parker/Williams (Bell or Crowder or Anderson)

Potential Low-Owned Stacks:

Minnesota Vikings -- Cousins/Cook/Diggs or Thielen (Tyreek Hill )

Chicago Bears -- Trubisky/Allen Robinson /Taylor Gabriel or Trey Burton (Jordan Howard and/or Zach Ertz )

Green Bay Packers -- Rodgers/Aaron Jones /Davante Adams or Allen Lazard (Ekeler or Mike Williams )

Again, these lineups are meant to serve as examples for you. A sounding board if you will. They are not meant for you to plug in as your own. That's the lazy way and we don't condone it. We are trying to teach you how to be a better DFS player; we aren't lineup-sellers. You should be creating your own lineups using all the information we provide you throughout the week and then coming here to see if there is anything you may have missed or simply for an alternative perspective.

**EXAMPLE LINEUPS WILL BE POSTED ONE HOUR BEFORE KICKOFF AT 1PM ET**
