Merrill Kelly picked no decision Saturday despite allowing just two runs over six innings against Atlanta.
Kelly allowed solo homers in the first two innings, but he settled down quite nicely over the next few frames. The 36-year-old allowed just two other hits with four strikeouts and one free pass while lowering his ERA to 4.41 on the campaign. Kelly has looked good since hid disastrous nine-run start against the Yankees on April 3, and his 4.41 ERA is very misleading. He’ll be back on the mound next weekend against the Phillies.

Dean Kremer was charged for four runs over 5 2/3 innings while picking up a loss to the Twins on Wednesday in the first game of a doubleheader.
J.P. Crawford has been scratched from Wednesday’s lineup against the Yankees.
Crawford’s reason for not being in the lineup have yet to be disclosed. The 30-year-old will take a seat for the finale against the Yankees with Leo Rivas now handling shortstop duties. Miles Mastrobuoni will hit leadoff with Crawford out.
