Tony Gonsolin (back) gave up two runs over five innings on Wednesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Gonsolin threw 79 pitches (50 strikes) in his likely final rehab outing. It’s unclear what exact role he’ll have upon returning to Los Angeles, but the Dodgers wanted him to build up to five innings before bringing him back from the injured list. He should join their mix, likely in a versatile swingman-type role, early next week.
