Austin Hays is getting his first day off Wednesday since coming off the injured list a week ago.
Hays is batting .371/.421/.657 in eight games — four in left field and four as a DH — since debuting last Tuesday. The Reds have Gavin Lux in left field and Jeimer Candelario at DH today.
