Brown made his second start as a Pelican on Tuesday and was able to have one of his best games since joining the team. His 12 points were his most since January, and the rebound and assist numbers were solid as well. This was Brown’s second start with New Orleans, but it’s unclear if he will remain in this role moving forward. He’s currently rostered in just two percent of Yahoo! leagues, and if he continues to start, he is an intriguing streaming option.

Ortiz receives his first day off since April 22 after making 18 consecutive starts. The 26-year-old speedster has gotten off to a brutal start at the plate this season, hitting .176/.233/.228 with one homer, six RBI and four steals through 40 games. It’ll be Andruw Monasterio filling in at shortstop on Monday evening.

Torrens is feeling better after taking a foul ball to the groin area during Sunday’s showdown against the Cubs. He’ll get some extra time to continue resting and recovering with Francisco Alvarez handling the catching duties during Monday’s series opener at Citi Field.

Woodruff was limited to just 39 pitches during Sunday’s minor league rehab start for Triple-A Nashville and will undergo treatment this week for right ankle tendinitis. He’s been pulled off his rehab assignment for the next couple days and will make another appearance for one of Milwaukee’s minor league affiliates before he’s cleared for his season debut. At this point, it’s challenging to envision him returning until the very end of May or early June.

It doesn’t sound like a massive concern, but the Brewers can’t really afford to take any chances with Brandon Woodruff no longer an option to return later this week. The 36-year-old veteran southpaw was originally slated to take the ball for Wednesday’s series finale against the Guardians, but that’s no longer happening. Barring an unexpected development, he should be ready for Friday’s showdown against the Twins.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Zabel’s deal is worth a guaranteed $18.471 million. The former North Dakota State guard will be tasked with bolstering a Seahawks line that ranked 26th in PFF pass blocking grades and 24th in run blocking grades. The Seahawks didn’t do much to address their offensive line this offseason, with Zabel being the biggest addition to date. The FCS stud showed out at this year’s senior bowl, and brings high expectations into his rookie season after dominating at the college ranks.

Bradford has thrown exclusively fastballs and changeup at the outset of his extended build-up process as he works his way back from a left elbow sprain that he suffered in the late stages of spring training. He’s still a ways off from making it back to Texas’ rotation, most likely at some point in June.
