Tom and TJ Keen of Keen Parts (CorvetteParts.net) announced that they will run a special Autism Awareness paint scheme in this weekâ??s NASCAR Xfinity Series New Holland 250 at Michigan Int'l Speedway with driver Ryan Ellis and Alpha Prime Racing.

The scheme was thought of by the family of former NHL Player and Stanley Cup Champion Chris Thorburn and his wife Sara. Their three children, Bennett, Mary, and Oscar created the hand-drawn colorful scheme aimed at raising autism awareness. Bennett, an avid-NASCAR fan, was diagnosed with autism at the age of four and learned number recognition and counting through race cars. Since then, the Thorburn family has been attending races in Michigan for several years. Mary and Oscar, as always, were by Bennettâ??s side, assisting him with the scheme â?? writing, â??Autism Lives Matter, Be a Friendâ?, powerful words that will be represented on the lower quarter panel and bumper of the No. 44 Keen Parts Chevy.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that Tyler Glasnow is “likely” headed to the injured list.

Roberts added that the club hasn’t made a final decision prior to Monday’s series opener against the Marlins. He also noted that Glasnow is currently being evaluated for general body soreness in addition to the shoulder discomfort that cut short Sunday’s start against the Pirates. He expressed confidence that Glasnow isn’t dealing with any structural issues in his right shoulder, which is encouraging. It seems like a virtual lock that Glasnow will land on the shelf at some point this week. It’ll likely be some combination of Tony Gonsolin, who is expected to return this week from the injured list, and Ben Casparius filling the void.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that Blake Snell (shoulder) received an anti-inflammatory injection.

Snell remains without a return timetable after being shut down last week after experiencing renewed shoulder discomfort. The 32-year-old southpaw is going to require a lengthy build up process from a workload and stamina standpoint before he’s ready to rejoin the Dodgers’ rotation mix. There’s a chance he’s not ready to return until the second half of the season.

Twins re-signed RHP Matt Canterino to a minor league contract.

It’s a two-year minor league pact for Canterino, who was cut loose last week by the Twins following his removal from the club’s 40-man roster. The 27-year-old pitching prospect’s once-promising career has been derailed by injuries and he basically hasn’t pitched in the minors since the 2022 season. He’s currently recovering after recently undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery.

Michael Porter Jr. (shoulder) is probable to play in Game 5 against the Clippers on Tuesday.

MPJ is still dealing with the left shoulder injury that he suffered in Game 2, but it isn’t expected to impact his availability on Tuesday. He played 42 minutes in Game 4 and scored 17 points with four three-pointers. Expect him to continue to play significant minutes.

Russell Westbrook (foot) is questionable to play against the Clippers in Game 5 on Tuesday.

Westbrook missed Game 4, but interim head coach David Adelman just relied on his starters more than usual. If Westbrook misses another game, expect the starters to all play 40+ minutes once again. Peyton Watson was the only reserve to play more than 10 minutes, and he only played 13.

Brandon Nimmo had a career game Monday, going 4-for-6 with two homers and nine RBI in the Mets’ 19-5 destruction of the Nationals.

Nimmo only got his first RBI in the sixth, when he hit a three-run homer. He launched a grand slam the next inning and then a two-run double in the eighth. He got to bat again versus Amed Rosario in the ninth, but Mark Vientos immediately preceded him with a three-run homer, and Nimmo harmlessly groundout out. As a result, Nimmo only tied the Mets record for RBI, which was set by Carlos Delgado against the Yankees in 2008. Nimmo’s previous high was five.
