Bonino had two assists in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Ducks.

The center assisted on goals by Craig Smith and Rocco Grimaldi in the third period to help the Predators retie the game at 4. Bonino entered the contest on a seven-game drought, but he put that dry spell to rest. He's had a solid season with 24 points and a plus-14 rating in 41 games. Fantasy owners should still be cautious with putting the 31-year-old in their lineups given his recent struggles.

An MRI revealed a flexor strain in Max Kranick’s right elbow.

The good news is that the strain is considered “minor.” The bad news is it’s still a strain, and it’s likely that this injury will keep Kranick out of action until after the All-Star break at least.

Tyrese Haliburton (calf) is questionable for Sunday’s Game 7 against the Thunder.

While Haliburton disclosed Saturday afternoon that he’s still dealing with soreness and stiffness in his strained right calf, he said that he’ll be good to go for Sunday’s series decider. The Pacers have officially listed the point guard as questionable, but the sporting world expects to see him on the court. With Haliburton being at less than full strength, the Pacers will likely need another standout performance from backup point guard T.J. McConnell if they’re to win their first NBA title.

Landen Roupp pitched six shutout innings with seven strikeouts in the Giants’ 3-2 victory over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Roupp got the win, evening his record at 5-5. He’s been inconsistent of late, and fatigue figures to start creeping in at some point — today’s start was his 15th, which is his highest total since he also started 15 games as a Senior at UNC Wilmington in 2021 — but there’s a lot to like about his arsenal. The Red Sox barely had any chance against his curveball today; the 24 times he threw it produced nine whiffs, nine additional strikes and one 70-mph bloop hit the one time it was put in play. Roupp may not be able to add much in the second half, but he’s a nice play in mixed leagues against the White Sox next week.

Camilo Doval escaped with a save after allowing two runs in the ninth Saturday against the Red Sox.

Working with a 3-0 lead, Doval gave up a double and two singles to start the ninth, but he retired three in a row from there. It’s just the third time he’s been scored upon since mid-April. Since he did throw 20 pitches while working for the third time in four days, he’ll probably get Sunday off, putting Randy Rodríguez potentially in line for a save.

Brayan Bello yielded three runs — one earned — over six innings Saturday in a loss to the Giants.

Bello allowed only four hits, but one was a solo shot from Heliot Ramos and another was a two-run blast from old friend Rafael Devers. It’s still his fourth straight quality start, which was a nice change from a May run in which he went five straight starts without ever completing five innings. Bello will carry a 3-2 record and a 3.31 ERA into his next start versus the Jays.

Rafael Devers’ first homer for the Giants was a two-run shot off Boston’s Brayan Bello on Saturday.

Devers isn’t going to have as much luck going to the opposite field in San Francisco as he did in Boston, but he did clear the wall in left today with a 370-foot shot that left the bat at 105.5 mph. He grounded out twice and struck out in his other at-bats.
