Alex Newhook had assists on Colorado's first two goals Saturday.
Newhook drew assists on Valeri Nichushkin's power play goal and Josh Manson's marker in the first 7:55 of Game 2 Saturday. The talented but youthful forward, was taken 16th overall in 2019 and should become a big part of Colorado's future in the next couple of seasons.
Alex Newhook will be back in the lineup for Game 5 against St. Louis.
Newhook made his long-awaited debut this postseason in Game 4 on Monday night. He picked up an assist in 8:07 of ice time. Newhook will remain in the fold on Wednesday night and Andre Burakovsky will be scratched again.

Newhook, who had 13 goals and 33 points in 71 games during the regular season, has not been granted a chance to play in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs yet.
