Miller tied the game at 1-1 just before the six-minute mark of the first period. He has one goal and two assists during a three-game point streak. Miller added one shot, one hit and two blocks in 23:15 of ice time. He has two goals and seven points in 16 games this postseason. 

While Miller's goal evened the game at 2 as his shot from the top of the circle caromed off Pittsburgh defenseman Mike Matheson and into the net, a just as important play occurred in overtime as he drew a penalty while breaking in alone on Tristan Jarry. The Rangers won it on the subsequent power play on an Artemi Panarin goal. Miller had four points in the series and is showing why he was selected with the 22nd pick in the first round in 2018. Miller played the entire 82 game regular season and ended the season with seven goals and 20 points from the blueline.

Miller also had five shots, a hit, and a block in 22:48 minutes of ice time. The assists were his first two points of the 2022 playoffs.

Miller broke a 2-2 tie with just 33.7 seconds left in the third period. It was his third goal and 10th point of the season. Miller finished Sunday's match with four shots, four hits and three blocks in 23:46 of ice time.
