The Dallas Stars won't dress Thomas Harley in Game 4 against the Calgary Flames.
Harley is a former first round pick that has yet to dress in this series. Jacob Peterson, Andrej Sekera and Marian Studenic will also be scratched.
Thomas Harley will be a healthy scratch in Game 2 against the Calgary Flames on Thursday.
Harley didn't skate in the Game 1 loss to the Flames either. The 20-year-old had just four points in 34 games during the regular season, but his upside is undeniable. Jacob Peterson, Andrej Sekera, and Marian Studenic will also be scratched tonight.
Thomas Harley did not see any power play time on Friday despite Miro Heiskanen not playing.
Harley was second in the AHL among defensemen in power play points last season and the thought was that Harley would get a chance to play with Heiskanen out, but that was not to be. Despite this, coach Rick Bowness thinks that he will get his chance on the man-advantage soon. “He’s right there,” Bowness said. “You see him more and more, you’ve got to give him a chance to get comfortable. He made an awesome play on that second goal. He’ll get a look.” Harley was taken 18th overall in the first round in 2019 due to his strong offensive game.
