Fox had the primary helper on goals by Kaapo Kakko and Mika Zibanejad in the contest. Kakko's goal gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead going into the first intermission and Zibanejad's held up as the game winner. Fox has compiled two goals and 10 assists over a seven-game point spree. The Rangers will carry a 2-0 series lead into Game 3 on the road versus the Lightning on Sunday afternoon.

Fox gave the Rangers a 1-0 lead and drew an assist on Chris Kreider's power play goal to make it 2-0 in the opening stanza.
