The Edmonton Oilers have sent goaltender Stuart Skinner back to the American Hockey League.
Skinner was recalled on Sunday on an emergency basis after Mikko Koskinen was unable to go due to an illness and this appears to indicate the the Finnish netminder has recovered. Skinner has shown some promise this season, posting a 6-6-0 record with the Oilers to go along with a 2.62 goals-against-average and a .913 save percentage.
