Logan O'Connor drew his third assist of the post-season Saturday in the Avs 7-0 shellacking over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
O'Connor set up Darren Helm to make the score 5-0. He has a goal and four points in 13 games in the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Logan O'Connor picked up the primary assist on Darren Helm's game-winner with under six seconds left in the third period Friday.
O'Connor's first assist of the playoffs was a huge one as his cross-ice pass bounced off the side boards and right to Helm whose shot found the far corner of the net. The goal propelled the Avalanche to a 3-2 win and moved them into the Western Conference Finals against Edmonton as they beat St. Louis 4-2 in the best-of-seven series. O'Connor has a goal and an assist in seven playoff games this season.

O'Connor's first period goal evened the count at one apiece. The 25-year-old was playing in his fourth playoff game as he has been a healthy scratch twice and his goal was his first point in the post-season.
Logan O'Connor is projected to play in Thursday's Game 2 matchup against Nashville.
Coach Jared Bednar didn't say who would replace Andrew Cogliano in the lineup on Thursday night, but Alex Newhook stayed out late with the expected scratches. That appears to indicate that O'Connor will play.
