Tippett had 10 goals and 21 points in 63 contests with the Panthers and Flyers last season. He was averaging just 12:32 minutes in Florida, but that jumped to 15:12 minutes after the Flyers acquired him. He hasn't produced as hoped up to this point, but with a bigger opportunity in Philadelphia, he could make some significant strides next season.

Tippett picked up an assist on James van Riemsdyk's first-period goal and he added a power-play tally of his own of his own in the third frame. The 23-year-old came over from Florida in the Claude Giroux trade earlier this season. He should be able to play a bigger role in Philadelphia next season. He finishes the year with 10 goals and 20 points in 63 games in 2021-22. 

Tippett tied James van Riemsdyk for the team lead with his five shots on-goal, but none made it home against Eric Comrie, who turned in a shutout performance. In 61 games played this season between the Panthers and Flyers, Tippett has recorded nine goals and 19 points. 

Tippett, who was acquired from Florida on Saturday in the Claude Giroux trade, is slated to play alongside Oskar Lindblom and Morgan Frost. He has six goals, 14 points, 73 shots and 62 hits in 42 games this year.
