Alexander Kerfoot had a shorthanded goal in Game 2 against Tampa Bay on Wednesday night.
Kerfoot cut Toronto's deficit to 5-3 at the 15:43 mark of the third period, but that was as close as they would come. Toronto led the league with 13 shorthanded goals during the regular season and the team already has two markers while killing penalties in the playoffs.
Alexander Kerfoot set up Pierre Engvall for his 37th assist of the season. He has 50 points in 76 games, a career best as are his assist totals.
