Alex Tuch dished for two assists in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Tuch passed for assists on goals by Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner in the second and third periods, respectively. Those goals worked to build up a lead for the Sabres after the contest had been tied up at 1-1 prior. In 43 games played this season, Tuch has posted 10 goals and 35 points. While he chipped in nicely on Tuesday, Tuch has now gone three consecutive games without a goal.
The Buffalo Sabres will have Alex Tuch in their lineup on Monday night against the Florida Panthers.
Tuch left Sunday's game against the LA Kings in the third period after crashing into the post but he'll be good-to-go tonight. The veteran will skate on the top line alongside Jeff Skinner and Tage Thompson. Tuch has been incredible with the Sabres, scoring seven goals and picking up 23 points in 25 games.
Alex Tuch (upper body) will be a game-time decision on Monday against Florida.
"Scans came back good and positive, so looking forward to - as long as everything is looking good for tonight - going ahead and playing tonight," said Tuch. He will see how he feels at the pregame warmups. Tuch left Sunday's game against Los Angeles in the third period after crashing into the post.
Alex Tuch (upper body) is at practice Monday.
Tuch was injured Sunday in the latter half of the third period when he crashed into the post. He did not return but the good news was that there was no head injury. With his return to the ice Monday, Tuch could be in the lineup Monday night versus Florida. He has seven goals and 23 points in 25 games.
