Jeannot is just the second rookie in NHL history to reach 300 hits in a season after Cal Clutterbuck racked up a total of 356 in 2008-09. He also has 24 goals, 41 points, 123 penalty minutes, 121 shots and 60 blocks in 78 games. Jeannot has provided fantasy managers with plenty of category coverage in his first full campaign with the Predators. 

Jeannot was assessed a two-minute penalty for tripping on the play Tuesday night early in the third period. He concluded the contest with one goal, four PIM, one shot, five hits and two blocks. 

While Jeannot handed out assists on a pair of second-period goals by Yakov Trenin, he saved his best for last, scoring a goal of his own against Martin Jones to snap a 4-4 tie with less than a minute remaining in regulation. With this one now headed to the archives, Jeannot is up to 22 goals and 39 points across 65 games played. He had gone seven games without an assist before posting two helpers on Sunday. 

Jeannot will not be available for the Predators in this outing, as he is back in Nashville for the birth of his child. He has 21 goals and 36 points in 64 games played. The team will also miss Matt Benning, Dante Fabbro and Mark Borowiecki due to injuries.
