Tomas Hertl scored his 28th of the season in the Sharks 4-2 loss to Vancouver.
It has been a solid offensive season for Hertl who has 59 points in 71 games. The goal was his sixth on the power play. Nick Bonino with his 11th, also scored for the Sharks who are 29-33-9 this season, good enough for 13th place in the Western Conference.

Hertl got the Sharks off to a rocking start in the second period as he picked up an assist on Erik Karlsson’s game-opening marker at the 1:08 mark of the frame. The 28-year-old also found the back of the net in the third period to pull the Sharks within a goal (3-2) of the Oilers but they could not generate enough chances to find the equalizer.
