Alexandre Carrier led the way for Nashville Saturday with a pair of assists.
Carrier also had an assist in Game 2 to give him three in three games in the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs. Not known for his scoring as he had three goals and 30 points in 77 games this season, Carrier is off to a good start in the playoffs although it could be short-lived as the Predators are down 3-0 in the best-of-seven series.
Alexandre Carrier will play during Saturday's game against the San Jose Sharks.
Carrier participated in line rushes during warmups, indicating his return to the active Predators lineup for this matchup. He will play on a pairing with Ben Harpur. Carrier played his last game back on February 24th. He has two goals and 20 points in 49 games played.
Alexandre Carrier (upper body) could return to the fold on Saturday against San Jose, according to Nashville GM David Poile.
Carrier didn't play last Saturday against Tampa Bay due to an upper-body injury and he isn't expected to play on Wednesday night either.
Alexandre Carrier (upper body) will be in the Nashville lineup Saturday as they face the Montreal Canadiens.
It will be a homecoming for Carrier. “It’s another dream come true," Carrier said. "When I was a kid, I was watching the Habs. Being able to play at the Bell Centre in front of friends & family, I’m really excited for not just myself, but for everyone that was close to me when I started playing.”
