Nikita Kucherov dealt with a meniscus injury.
Kucherov had eight goals and 27 points in 23 playoff contests this year. Even with the injury, he was the fourth best scorer in the postseason.
Nikita Kucherov potted a goal in a 3-2 win against Colorado in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final on Friday.
Kucherov scored a power-play goal during a 4-on-3 advantage in the second period. He was credited with six shots on target in the contest along with one hit. Kucherov ended his six-game goalless skid on Friday. He had five helpers and 14 shots during that span.
Nikita Kucherov (lower body) is expected to play in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night against Colorado.
Coach Jon Cooper said that he anticipates having the same lineup as Game 3 on Monday night. He also stated on Tuesday that he believed that Kucherov would be available to play in Game 4 after the Lightning forward was injured late in the third period of Monday's contest.

That has to come as a huge relief to Lightning fans after Kucherov left Monday's contest. He sustained what appeared to be a leg injury when he was knocked to the ice awkwardly by Avalanche defender Devon Toews. Kucherov has seven goals and 26 points in 20 playoff contests this year.
