Hanifin blocked a shot late in Tuesday's shootout loss to Nashville, but it appears as though he is good to go against Dallas. 

As you can gather from the final score, Hanifin passed for helpers on every goal scored by the Flames on Saturday. In order, those passes came on goals by Blake Coleman, Trevor Lewis, Michael Stone and Tyler Toffoli. For the campaign as a whole, now, Hanifin has racked up seven goals and 39 points across 71 games played. His four points against Seattle marked a season-best showing for Hanifin.

Hanifin has 34 points and that's a career high for the defenseman as he had 33 points in his first season with the Flames, back in 2018-19. Brett Ritchie, Johnny Gaudreau and Dillon Dube also scored for Calgary. Hanifin has value in deeper fantasy leagues at this time.

Hanifin picked up both of his points in the second period, as the Flames scored four consecutive goals in the frame and five in a row over the last two periods. He finished the night with an even rating and one shot on goal in 19:55 of ice time. The 25-year-old has put together back-to-back multi-point efforts and he has five goals and 22 points in 43 games this season.
