Luke Schenn has been removed from COVID-19 protocol and he is back on the active roster.

Schenn returned to practice on Monday and he will be available for the Canucks when the team resumes play from the holiday break. In 15 appearances this season, he has one goal, four assists, 18 shots, 14 blocks and 58 hits.

Schenn is one of two Vancouver players in the protocol. He was on the ice for 19:51 minutes in Sunday's game against Carolina.

Luke Schenn was back in the lineup on Wednesday night from a lower-body injury.

Schenn picked up an assist, three hits and two blocks in 14 minutes of ice time. He had been sidelined since Nov. 5 due to the ailment.

Luke Schenn (lower body) is considered to be week-to-week, per coach Travis Green.

Schenn was absent from Monday's practice and there was speculation that he was injured. That has turned out to be true and Green said Tuesday that the 32-year-old blueliner will be out for a bit longer than they were hoping for initially. Schenn has been moved to injured reserve.
