The Carolina Hurricanes has signed Stefan Noesen to a two-year contract.
Noesen will earn $500,000 at the AHL level or $750,000 in the NHL in 2022-23 with a guaranteed minimum salary of $550,000 regardless of what combination of service time he ends up with. For the 2023-24 campaign, he'll make $775,000 regardless of what level he plays at. Although Noesen hasn't played much in the NHL in recent years, he was a key part of the AHL's Chicago Wolves' success in 2021-22. He had 48 goals and 85 points in 70 AHL contests followed by another nine goals and 25 points in 18 playoff contests. His efforts helped Chicago win the Calder Cup.

Noesen had no points in two games earlier in the month for the Hurricanes and had 10 goals and 24 points in 23 games with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. Just an FYI.
