Ekman-Larsson is expected to need four-to-six weeks to recover, so he should be fine by the time training camp starts. He had two assists in six games with Sweden during the tournament.

"I don’t know how I’m going to feel stepping out on the ice," said .Ekman-Larsson. "There’s going to be some smiles and maybe some tears." He picked up three assists in a 5-1 win over the Coyotes on Feb. 8. OEL has four helpers during a three-game point streak going into Thursday's contest. 

Ekman-Larsson was paired with Tyler Myers during the session and he worked on the second power-play unit. He should be expected to play Monday night against Seattle, but we will let you know if his status changes. 

Ekman-Larsson was injured during the third period of play in this matchup. He exited the game early and did not return. After the matchup, head coach Bruce Boudreau had no further updates on his status. Ekman-Larsson has four goals and 15 points on the year.
