Calvin Pickard signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Edmonton Oilers.

Pickard will replace Thomas Greiss who left Thursday's game with an injury. While Alex Nedeljkovic is the starter, Pickard should be a capable backup for the Red Wings at this time.
