Zach Hyman scored a pair of goals in the Oilers 6-5 overtime loss in Game 4 Monday.
The Oilers were eliminated by the Avalanche Monday in four straight games. It was an outstanding playoff performance for the former Maple Leaf who ended up with 11 goals and 16 points in 16 games.
Zach Hyman picked up the primary assist on Connor McDavid's goal Saturday.
Hyman outworked former Toronto teammate Nazem Kadri on the boards and got the puck to McDavid who had just jumped off the bench. McDavid's shot beat Pavel Francouz at the 38 second mark of the first to give the Oilers a 1-0 lead in a game they would eventually lose 4-2. It was Hyman's fifth assist of the playoffs and with his nine goals, has 14 points in 15 games. Hyman had a six-game points streak end on Thursday but he got right back on track Saturday.
Zach Hyman will play alongside Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Kailer Yamamoto on Thursday night.
Hyman spent Game 1 of the Western Conference Final against Colorado alongside Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, but Evander Kane will return to that spot on Thursday. He has racked up seven goals and two assists during a six-game point streak.

Hyman found the back of the net in every single game of the Oilers' second round series. He's up to eight goals and 12 points in 12 playoff games this year.
