Karlsson waited until late to get into gear, with both his own goal and his assist on Shea Theodore's goal coming with under 10 minutes remaining in regulation. The late surge by the Golden Knights ultimately ended up falling just short. On the whole this season, Karlsson has scored four goals while logging 10 total points in 21 games. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for reserve help.

Karlsson missed 15 games, but will officially rejoin the Golden Knights in this matchup against the Flames. Karlsson dressed for eight contests this season, during which he notched one goal and tallied two assists for a total of three points.

Karlsson was previously termed as a game-time decision, but it seems very likely at this point that he will be in the lineup on Sunday. He has a goal and three points in eight games this season.

If Karlsson does end up in the lineup, coach Peter DeBoer plans to be cautious with his workload. Karlsson hasn't played since Oct. 29 and only resumed skating three-to-four days, so rust might be a bit of a factor if he ultimately is in the lineup.
