Tyler Ennis (upper body) may be done for the rest of the season.
Coach D.J. Smith said after Sunday's contest that he hadn't heard the final say from medical yet, but it looks like Ennis could be out for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign. Ennis was injured in the second period against Detroit on what appeared to be a shoulder issue.
Tyler Ennis left Sunday's game against Detroit because of an upper-body injury and he won't return.
Ennis was injured during the second period. The 32-year-old forward appeared in his 700th career NHL contest on Sunday, but he finished with only 7:23 of ice time.
Tyler Ennis will be back in the lineup on Friday against Detroit.
Ennis was scratched on Tuesday versus Nashville. He has one goal and one assist in his past two outings to give him 23 points in 55 appearances this campaign. Chris Tierney will be scratched.

Ennis beat Elvis Merzlikins for a goal midway through the first period, but the Senators had nothing else going for them offensively on the evening. On the whole this season, Ennis has now logged seven goals and 21 points across 50 games played. There is no real fantasy upside when it comes to the veteran forward.
