Rasmus Ristolainen has signed a five-year contract extension with the Philadelphia Flyers.
The deal has an average annual value of 5.1 million. "Rasmus is an important part of our team and we are very happy to have him on our blue line for the next five years," said Philadelphia GM Chuck Fletcher. "He is committed to being a Flyer, and brings a consistent physical presence to our team." Ristolainen has two goals, 13 points, 72 shots, 90 blocks and 177 hits in 49 games this season.
