Kessel is set to become the 105th player to ever reach that milestone. In his prime, Kessel was a pretty solid bet to score around 30 goals each season, but this is shaping up to be his worst campaign in terms of goals-per-game. He has seven goals and 43 points in 69 contests. He's also just eight games away from 1,200 and he's poised to become the 122nd player to ever get to that mark.

That was Kessel's eighth multi-point game of the season. He's up to seven goals and 42 points in 67 games this season.

Kessel only trails the Flyers Keith Yandle who is 21 games ahead of Kessel. Kessel was on the trade market this past week but nothing happened and he remains a Coyote for the rest of the season. Kessel has only seven goals and 39 points in 65 games this season with Arizona and is on the final year of his huge contract that has a $6.8 million cap hit.
