Player News
Oscar Dansk has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Calgary Flames.
Dansk would come with a $750,000 cap hit if he plays in the NHL and he's guaranteed to earn a minimum of $300,000 in 2022-23. He had a 2.66 GAA and .910 save percentage in 17 KHL games in 2021-22.
Oscar Dansk has signed a two-year contract with Spartak Moscow of the KHL.
Dansk appeared in one game with Vegas during the 2020-21 season, while spending most of the year in the AHL with Henderson. He posted six wins in 11 appearances with a 2.99 goals-against average and .902 save percentage as a member of the Silver Knights. Dansk has played in six career NHL games, while making five starts. He was slated to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
The Vegas Golden Knights have reportedly parted ways with Oscar Dansk.
Dansk didn't skate in any of the Golden Knights' postseason practices, even though fellow depth goaltenders Logan Thompson and Jiri Patera skated. Rather than stick with the team, Dansk returned to Sweden after the regular season. Dansk is an unrestricted free agent and it sounds like he won't be re-signed.
Oscar Dansk made 25 saves during Friday's 5-4 OT win over the San Jose Sharks.
Dansk allowed a total of four goals on 29 shots and finished the night with a .862 save percentage. Dansk was given the nod today in order to give Fleury some rest. In his first appearance of the year, Dansk managed to put up some decent numbers. However, Dansk must level up his game if he ever wishes to compete with someone like Marc-Andre Fleury for more ice time.
