Cousins had nine goals and 22 points in 68 contests with Nashville in 2021-22. He should be seen primarily as a fourth liner, but he's very good in that role.

Cousins scored a goal against Jordan Binnington a touch over four minutes into the first period and later posted an assist on Luke Kunin's second-period goal. It didn't matter, because the Blues were absolutely scorching the opposite crease, scoring seven consecutive goals after Cousins ever-so-briefly gave the Predators a 1-0 advantage. Overall this season, Cousins has tallied nine goals and 22 points in 63 games played. 

Cousins intercepted a Mike Matheson pass and ripped a shot from the slot, beating Casey DeSmith in the Pittsburgh cage. Cousins has 20 points this season and performs adequately as a bottom-six forward for the Predators.

This will be Cousins' first game since Feb. 12. He has six goals and 13 points in 42 contests this season. In a corresponding move, Matt Luff will be a scratch.
