Pionk had to sit out Monday's game versus Chicago because of COVID travel restrictions after he returned to the fold last Friday and Saturday. He has two goals, 19 points, 87 shots, 52 blocks and 102 hits in 41 games this year. 

Pionk exited COVID-19 protocol last week and returned to the lineup for road games on Friday and Saturday. However, he can't cross the border yet to return to Winnipeg because today is the 10th day from his positive test result. Pionk can join the team on Tuesday, so he will be eligible to play on Wednesday versus Minnesota. Adjust your lineup accordingly. 

Pionk returned to the ice on Thursday and he took part in the morning skate ahead of Friday's match against Dallas. He wasn't available for Tuesday's match against Minnesota. Pionk has two goals, 18 points, 82 shots, 48 blocks and 96 hits in 39 games this campaign. 

Pionk, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Austin Poganski were added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list on Monday. The Jets defender won't play on Tuesday and should be considered day-to-day beyond that.
