Raffl spent the 2021-22 season with the Dallas Stars and become an unrestricted free agent this summer. He recorded seven goals, 16 points, 94 shots and 141 hits in 76 games last campaign.

Raffl gave the Stars a 2-0 lead at the 6:04 mark of the second period. He also assisted on Tyler Seguin's empty-netter to seal the win and force a series-deciding Game 7 back in Calgary on Sunday night. Raffl concluded the contest with six hits, two shots and one block. 

That was Raffl's sixth goal and ninth point in 34 career playoff contests. During the regular season he contributed seven goals and 16 points in 76 games.
