The 28-year-old now has a 1-1-0 record, with a 6.11 goals-against-average and a .828 save percentage this season. Lagace is getting a run in the Tampa net because Andrei Vasilevskiy and Brian Elliott are in Covid-19 protocol. Hugo Alnefelt entered the game in relief of Lagace on Thursday.
Maxime Lagace will get the start for Thursday's game against the Florida Panthers.
Lagace has appeared in only one game this season, which was on the 28th against the Montreal Canadiens. He picked up a win in that matchup and will look for another one against Florida.
